Congrats on the funniest thread ever. Anime yes because the DOTR cartoon was rubbish (except for any episode in which Sub-Zero was the main character) but we don't need a manga version, the MK comics were good enough

Hmmm maybe. Id prefer a beast war version with high detail computerised 3D graphics. That would be insane.

I don't think that would turn out too well.

Also the Japanese would do a really good job with it, make it really gory, and then when the American version is made the voice acting will be shitty and it will be so badly censored you won't reconise it.

It's happening with Naruto, and it would happen with anything else.

I always thought it'd be cool for Mortal Kombat to be converted to a SERIOUS animated project with no holds barred. I think something along the lines of the first Street Fighter animated movie. Necessary gory violence, cussing (when needed), and most of all - TRUE TO THE GAME'S STORYLINE 100%.

Some anime includes gore. MK is renound for it's fatalities, so MK having it's own anime or manga would be great!

I remember this really bad game called "Dominant Species"(pc) and it had a life-force in it which was known as; "Anima"

Anime Mortal: Great! Makes a break from crap movies...

Anime is Animation which originates from a style used in Japan and Manga is the the Japanese comics:- Manga Mk, however isn't needed; we already have the comics.



...All this talk of "Mango" and "Anima" is making me thirsty... I think I'm gonna' go'n get a drink.

All I want to say is that the artwork on the MK characters in the Udon/Score Ent. trading card game against SF....THAT'S the kind of artwork I want to see Mortal Kombat with if they make an animated motion picture based on it.
