Oh my God, so many kontestants!

Just to let all of you know, I'm not entering. Though, I would like to, I stand no chance among all these participants. And besides, I can live without that statue.

(But I admit, it is really good-looking.)

I must enter to win this statue! I have been a Scorpion fan since day one! Scorpions are my favorite animal and when I heard there was a fighting arcade game coming out with a ninja named Scorpion, I couldn't wait! I remember standing in line at the arcade waiting for it to open the day Mortal Kombat came out.
I have to admit, I like Scorpion's alternate outfit much more than this one but this statue is unbelievable in its detail! Kudos to all the artists that work on these statues.

I love this whole series and Scorpion has been my favorite character ever since the first Mortal Kombat on Sega Genesis. I still remember the blood code. ABACABB I would really love to win this statue!

scorpions always been my fav mk char. from mk1 til now. hes always been so badass. and so is that statue. mk9 was so huge for me. it was like 1993 all over again when mkII was everywhere. you couldnt go to school without hearing about it. we would trade moves lists and such.

now mk9 is here, and even after being out for a year its still as fun to play as the 1st time. it still holds up. ed and the boys really made something special with this game that will stand the test of time, much like mk its self has. been trying to get a tournament scene going in my area lately. last tournament went well, hope to do more this summer!

ive been a part of mk5.org since the beginning. i remember being on gamers.com talking about mk. the mkda hype. its been such a huge ride from there to here. ive seen members come and go. mko has had some interesting contests and such over the years but i really think this is the best one they have ever done.

HELLO EVERYONE :) im an old time member on these forums, in fact this was the very first internet community i was a member of. haha i visited these forums so much that it's still engrained in my mind to type "mk5.org" into the address bar of my browser when i can't think of a website to visit. and strangely, that is what brought me here again. ahhh mortal kombat ... one of my greatest childhood companions :) it makes me smile seeing one of the greatest stories ever told unfold before my eyes, starting from the original back in the arcades, all the way through to the newest release. and let me tell you it has been quite the journey. Mortal Kombat is a legacy that will live on forever, and as a loyal fan of the series, i would like to say thank you to everyone for allowing me to be a part of it. And also ... the actual reason im here in the first place (despite, all of the above being true) is to enter for a chance to win this scorpion statue. it is a beautiful piece of craftsmanship, and i think it would look lovely on my mantlepiece :) sign me up.

Please I pray I can win this statue!! I've been an avid MK fan my entire life, I taught one of my best friends all about Scorpion (my favorite MK kombatant since MK 1) and I have bought and cared for every single MK game up to the 2011 game. I love Scorpion, loved him in all his spector-goodness, loved Chris Cassamassa's portrayal, i didn't like how they kinda...messed up Scorp in the 2nd movie but loved Cassamassa's return in the "Conquest" t.v series. I always keep tabs on Mister Ed Boon and Kevin Tancharoen on Twitter and I have sent Kevin Tancharoen at least a MILLION literally a MILLION tweets about Kabal, Scorpion and other such MKers.

I love Mortal Kombat, I've spent my ENTIRE life an avid fan (don't care for Street Fighter, Tekken or Soul Calibur) Mortal Kombat FOR LIFE. Please this statue would mean the world to me. I have a daughter so it's not easy for me to be able to get this kind of thing right now but I hope, hope...HOPE i will win. A millenia of thanks to the MK Online staff, Ed Boon, everyone involved in the Netherrealm Studios and I wish luck to all Kontestants here.
