Count me in too!! Awesome statue, and as others have said: Good luck everyone!
As for my experiences with MK 2011... Honestly, as a fan since MK1 came out in arcades in my home town of Chicago, I got to play all of the arcade games as they were going through the middle and ending stages before final builds came out.
It sounds really stupid to say, but as a fan, I almost felt a sense of ownership when it came to this series because it was the biggest game coming from my home town.
So when MK started to fade from the spotlight a little, as all fighting games did in the last decade or so, and Midway closed its doors, I began to lose hope that this series would be lost to my early childhood memories.
Then WB came along and NRS appeared on the scene under familiar leadership. As rumor after rumor trickled out leading up to the first big reveal, I was honestly stunned to see what Ed Boon and Company could do when given the proper time and resources.
Even as my skepticism lessened with each new announcement and trailer and reveal, I still couldn't bring myself to believe that what I was seeing was what I would be playing.
When the game finally released, I have to admit that I was in awe of what they'd accomplished. The backgrounds were so detailed and the characters movements, damage, attacks, combos, special moves... I was just amazed at how fluid everything was, and when the scores started rolling in, I knew that it wasn't just me that thought it was something special.
So I guess that's my biggest memory of MK2011. Just following it on MKO with everyone else here, wondering if they could possibly deliver on what they were showing us, little by little, only to be absolutely amazed by the final product. I still play it to this day and I already have it reserved on Vita.
It's been a game that's kept on giving, perhaps longer than any other game that I've ever owned, I after the sheer amount that I played the first two MK games, that's certainly saying something!

Oh most awesome MKOnline and PCS peoples, I would absolutely treasure this well sculpted Scorpion for eternity. Please enter me into this awesome Kontest!
I have been a lifelong MK fan, and my thirst for MK Vengence grows with each passing day. There is no MK Deception in these words. Please consider me for this wondrous statue. MK Armageddon must be avoided, and the only way of avoiding that is with that wonderful statue in my possession.

2011 The Year of Mortal Kombat

0
Well over the past year i have had a great time with this new MK. I have been playing MK since back in MK1 days. But i have become so much more active as a member of the community since the new MK came out.
I founded a group of gamers here in Indianapolis, its called the NEXUS, devoted to playing all the Mortal Kombats (1-9). I have seen our numbers grow from just 3 guys meeting once a week at Tilt Arcade, to 20 some odd people getting together every week to have a bonfire and play MK9 on a protection screen.
I also have been put in charge of running all Mortal Kombat tournaments held by various organizers in the Indianapolis area.
Its hard work, because Indy is mainly Capcom country. But its all worth it when i hear some one say "Just wanted to say thanks VAL, thanks for keeping Mortal Kombat alive in Indianapolis".
So this is me putting my hat in the pool for that amazing scorpion statue.
-Michael (VAL) V.

Have played MK since the beginning and have been playing MK9 pretty much non-stop since it came out. However, I've set it aside until July (sooo hard!) while I study for the PCAT.
Would be great to have that statue looking back at me when I get back into the game again after studying my ass off!
