Right, heres how I think costumes should look like in the next movie:

They looked absolutley crap, someone said it before they belonged in Power Rangers. They should get the costumes as close to the game as possible. I mean, Mileena should dress like the hooker she is. Sonya can't wear her Lara croft outfit, the only costume I liked in MKA was Sindels costume. it wasn't too bad but I think they should have done something more with the hair instead of just two streaks

i think the mortal kombat deception costumes are perfect. Those skimpy outfits mileena, jade etc wear are perfect....and i just realised....has there been any particular weapon fighting scenes in the MK movie trilogy? but anyways yeh the spandex is a bit suss. as i said befor...mortal kombat deception costumes ar perfect....

Liu Kang vs Guy in the first movie, they both used staffs (or is it staves? curse English grammar).

And Liu Kang held swords to take on Baraka's blades in MKA for... 7 seconds.


Anyway, Deception outfits for the movie? No Way, it would be insane. We wouldn't be able to see Sub-Zero, Scorpion, Rayden, Hotaru and many others do smooth looking martial arts because of all the gear and armour they are wearing.

they seem to do it in the game, its not like everything they wear has to be metal they could alter it a bit

Another reason this movie flopped hard. Half assed is what I call it. Okay I mean maybe I can see the earthrealm fighters not dressed like they are supposed too like in the games(even though I think they should) but the outworld fighters (especially the women) are all afraid of showing their legs. But I'm not too shocked....they didn't do any part of this movie correctly.

its easy, have hot bitches dressing like hookers e.g mileena and kitana etc. then just use the stunt doubles..most of the people have there face covered anyways, but one thing that mortal kombat directors have not achieved, is the aggression and theme of the game, and putting it into the movie. so

- use those skimpy outfits
- give the fellas a break from the spandex for a while
- some of the game outfits are perfect
- bloooooood.....needs to be bloooooooooooooood, like the game would be good :D
- dont make baraka look like a douche bag like mka
- dont make mk3 look like a rip off the power rangers

Well in my opinion the costumes in MKA were actually a little better than the first movie cuz the old ninja costumes in the first movie looked so simple...but then again in the first MK movie the ninjas mask look more better specially sub-zero's it looked like it was frozen....the only costumes i didnt like in MKA was Jades, Melinas, Kitana and Barakas face looked so stupid....i Hope in the New Movie MK3 the costumes will look more like the new more detail costumes in MK DECEPTION!!!...WHO AGREES WITH ME?

I think Sub-Zero, Cyrax and Smoke looked the coolest.

Don't worry a medieval knight could do roundhouses in 30 kilogramms of arnmour. Only if the actors were trained in Pi Gua or Stav, there should be no problem with those styles.

I hated the costumes for Sub Zero, Scorpion, Rain, and Ermac. They should have kept it simple like they did in the first MK movie. The costumes they used in the first one looked good and weren't cheesy. Shao Kahn was the worst though. His costume was bad and the actor was just horrible. The characters I thought looked good were Smoke, Cyrax, and Nightwolf.

I liked the costumes to Jade, Sindel and Kitana.
But there was lot of costumes that didnt work to well in the movie, the robots looked more plastic like, the metal arms to Jax was just funny.
Shao Khan should wear his mask more often, and lets not mention Sheeva But as mentioned, not every costume was bad in the movie.
