Has anyone noticed in the scene where Liu Kang kicks Baraka into the raging fire below, that it is actually a repeat scene of Rain falling into the fire after Shao Kahn blasted him with a mallet? If you don't believe me, go to the part where Liu Kang kicks Baraka into the fire, and slow down you DVD or VCR player and watch who falls into the fire. It is Rain! It happens so fast, most people never notice such things. Why am I always the one to find stuff like this?

Here's another one for ya. in the final battle between Kahn and Kang, you see kahn remove his cape and then fight liu. if you watch closely, after Motaro rips Jax's bionic arm off they cut back to kahn and he has his cape back on. 2 seconds later its off again. they really F*$@ED up that movie.

I discovered that in the final battle Liu VS Kahn, when Liu does those back flip kicks, a bird actually comes out of a tree and flies to another one. It is so clear I cant believe the director didn’t see it!

oooooooh wee, i think everyone knows that this was the worst movie ever created, perhaps they should have made it about a year ago, you know, enough time to figure out a better storyline for the movie, but yeah every should know that there is repeat scenes

I know of other goof ups they did with this dumb movie.

After Liu does that jump over the gap to save Sub-Zero, if you look really closely on the right side of the screen you'll see Scorpion is already behind Kitana waiting (before he takes her).

When they show that repeated shot of Rain getting knocked into the fire, if you slow down the screen and look really closely you'll see a person's hand sticking out of the fire!

When Jade says "I could never have stopped them alone," her lips don't match the talking.

When Rayden is fighting 2 raptors, you'll notice it's Ray Park fighting and not James Remar. I mean when they show his face up close. Your not supposed to show a stunt double's face for god sakes!!!

During the mud fight, if you guys watch closely you'll notice the editing in that fight was kind of sloppy. B/c one moment the left side of Sonya's shirt is all muddy and than in the next shot it wasn't muddy. Also just before that fight started there was NO mud on the ground where Sonya was standing!

After Sonya's outfit was all muddy, how come she was as dry as a bone in the next scene??? Come on in real life she would've needed clorox to get the mud stains out!

During the fight between Kahn and Rayden in the beginning, when Kahn gets knocked down the second time, it's actually a repeated shot of the first time he got knocked down. Finally when Kahn says to Rayden, "You will never win," his mouth is not even moving!

Speaking of Mortal Kombat Annihilation's sucking, http://www.skizzers.org/phantom/written/movie_mk.html one of the many rants out there that kicks ass. There's also another MKA rant somewhere around the web, I think someone from the forums made it, maybe it was Maddox, I dunno. It's called the Ultimate MKA rant. I'll try to find it.

MKA should be labeled as a comedy movie, because the poor acting is so frickin' HILARIOUS!!!!!
Almost makes Power Rangers dialogue seem intelligent.

Well, the original Mortal Kombat had quite a few mistakes as well....

In the scene with Scorpion and Jonny Cage in the forest, you can see a car drive by in the far left corner. You have to look really close though.

In the scene where Kitana, Liu, and Johnny are headed toward the Black tower in outworld, or when Kitana is explaining that Outworld used to be a beautiful place (same time) there is a large screen shot overhead and you can see the shadow of a man on a wall is holding a microphone.

In the scene at the end where the spikes rise from the ragon pattern in the floor, if you look carefully you can see that the spikes are tearing through tin foil.

Where Shang Tsung kidnaps Sonya and take her to outworld, you can see the green markers used for camera positions, lighting plans, or actors' marks on the floor.

Those aren't even half of them all, but shit, if small mistakes made a bad movie, Lord of the Rings would be the suckiest of them all.

Hope this helps...

Oh thanks Darque, I've been searching for it like crazy. I loved that rant, even though (surprisingly) it was still missing a few MKA mistakes.
