We are bitching because as customers and MK fans we deserve better, as does the quality of this line. Rolling over and pretending there is no problem will only result in more shitty figures. Although Jazwares doesn't seem to give a shit either way.

Sure there is improvement in the sculpts, but when the bar was so low to begin with it's not too hard to improve on it. Still doesn't mean it's up to standards though. You need to tone down the "your opinion is different than mine so I'm pissed off!!" routine. Quite childish.

That's where you are wrong. If Jazwares lost the line another more respectable and skilled company can pick up the line and give us proper MK figures. Check my post in the other Jazwares thread, the problems go far beyond sloppy paint apps. C grade sculptors, sleazy business tactics like excluding Scorpion from the ninja pack, etc. It's a giant cluster fuck and it's quite obvious they know they don't have to try too hard because of attitudes like yours. Shitty MK figures are better than no figures right? Well not all of us are content with that, hence the want for this mediocre company to let the license go so another one can do it properly. From the looks of it though that's not going to happen because of the MK figure blue balls everyone has.

I assure you if sycocollectibles was pumping out turds like Jazwares you'd hear just as much complaining and concern. Luckily they have actual talented sculptors on their team, and a willingness to take suggestions and concerns from their customers into account. People didn't like Liu Kang's head so they scrapped it and did a brand new one that everyone was happy with. I suggested an alternate hand for Mileena, bam they did it. If Jazwares took even a small portion of fan feedback they wouldn't be thrown under the bus at every turn. Their attitude is to just have total contempt for their customers. Combine that with mediocre and overpriced products and you end up smelling like shit at the end of the day.

These figures are way overpriced. Especially the Klassic 4 Pack for $50, are you kidding me? I went to Toys R Us to check these out. The 4 Pack is cool but the paint jobs were shotty. I wouldnt pay $50 for quality paint let alone crummy paint. Dont get me wrong, the 4 pack IS sweet. Then the 4 inch figures were $15! They should be $5.99. They dont even have accessories which they shouldnt. The only deal is the 6 pack of ninjas which is $35. I bought that one, and a 6 inch Sub Zero. I like to collect figures but I havnt in some time. It gets too insane. I think these are cool. I Won't buy more until I find them for reasonable prices.

All the MK figures Jazwares has made from previous games are worth 10X what they originally cost. I paid $7.99 for my MK Deception Sub-Zero. It's worth $70-100 now. Eventhough the quality is mediocre, they're the only recent MK figures out there. Unless NECA or someone else produces them down the line(which I doubt)buy them while you can. I guarantee you a year or so from now, the price on these will surprise you.

Was in fact mediocre for what it could have been but hell I gotta say that the Klassics line looks great.And you know,despite how bad wave one looked I still got it and others as well because growing up I couldn't find a single MK figure.MK was one of my favorite things growing up and now is pretty much the only game series I love to play.I take whatever I can in merchaindise(call me MK obsessed)So I guess its just the crazed MK fan talking here but I love seeing the new figures on the shelf it actually brings back childhood memories especially the ninja four pack because classic ninjas with switchable heads was believe it or not a dream come true.I honestly agree that Jazwares needs new painters I am looking at the X Ray sculpts compared to wave one and yes it has improved.I can actually see this line getting better and I will admit that if I could afford Syco statues you bet your ass I would get them but I can't so I take what I can afford.Now does that make me a 40 year old virgin loser ?Ummm no.It makes me a collector.

So what figures do you hope Jazwares makes?
Shao Kahn, Mileena, MK9 Smoke, Quan Chi, Sonya, and MK9 Alternate Ermac top my list. Not only would I like Jazwares to go outside of the box with characters, but costumes as well. IMO, Ermac's alternate and Noob's Primary are the best looks for these characters.

Definitely some females. I'm surprised a classic line of female ninjas hasn't been exploited yet. An MK9 Mileena would be nice, I'd buy one no matter how good or bad it was.

I don't want to sound redundant but I would like a Kung Lao action figure.

I have not seen either one on any Toys R us! Outrageous! Those are still populated by all the other ugly and boring ninjas...

Distribution has been weird, online and off. If you can't find them, I'd suggest biting the bullet and going online if you can.

Same here :( I really want that 4" classic Reptile, but I'm having no luck! I've seen all the 4" ninjas but Reptile. Maybe he's short packed.

Really want the cyborg and UMK3 Ninja pack with Rain.

Don't waste your money, I have them both, the cyborgs aren't too bad, but the UMK3 ninjas set is crap.
