The TRUE Budget for the first movie (according to New Line before their site was taken down) was $24 million, NOT $18 million a lot of news sites are recently reporting (that number is from IMDB and I believe one of the first budget figures) since the reboot news broke again. I managed to grab a snapshot of this info before New Line was taken down -
