Due to the popularity of the content I post related to the 1995 movie, I decided to start a Web site covering many aspects of the film and some of its related media.
It can be visited here.
As the site is currently under BETA, milestone 3, expect some missing information or text scattered throughout pages. This milestone focused heavily on the completion of the behind the scenes of the film, as well as beginning the More Kombat and other sections.
As to what you can expect to find here:
* Complete Scene by Scene Analysis, with complete and exhaustive coverage of behind-the-scenes, production notes, set design, character designs, and more, told through over 600 photos!
* Over 700 screenshots from the film and its many behind-the-scene documentaries!
* All the known deleted scenes, mistakes, and alternate dialogue
* Complete lyrics and details to all the MK music albums
* All the known, surviving script drafts
* Complete coverage of all the Hasbro figures
* Complete sticker book album, including empty and full pages
* Complete trading card series
* Complete coverage of all books and magazines
* Complete coverage of all the prints and reprints of the movie
* Coverage of rare items, like the coupon book, Raptor Knife and Ultimate Guide to Mortal Kombat CD-ROM
* Extensive collection of bios related to the movie
* Tons of posters, ads, articles, and interviews over the last 20 years!
* Relationships between the novel, scripts, movie, cards, and more
* Much, much more!
Includes facts you may not have known and will find throughout this site, such as:
* Original actors casted to play each part
* Liu Kang's "fireball" was actually an energy ball because humans, in real life, can't shoot fireballs
* Jade originally made an appearance in the film
* There were 3 knives planned for the film - only the Raptor made it in
* Extended and deleted fight scenes, including those filmed: extended dialogue between Kano and Goro, extended dialogue between Rayden and Liu kang at the Temple of the Order of the Light, etc.
* Why the movie was delayed and not released in April
* The unofficial animated sequel
* The hidden MK3 code in the Liu Kang vs Reptile fight
* Continuity and other mistakes
* Goro was made up of three different suits
* What the Outworld guards' original title was
* What scene was originally set in The Living Forest and how Reptile was supposed to die according to an earlier script (hint: it's now a stage fatality in MK9)
It can be visited here.

^ Thank you, I was anticipating some backlash from people who were unaware of my recent posts during the last year that practically revived this thread until Legacy was released, that's why I released it with a lot of content finished, so it would be appreciated that worthwhile to MK and not blatant advertising for a web site with two pages or a small dedicated site with just a synopsis, credits, and a few pictures

^ Don't count on it from me but I will likely upload rare items related to MK-A to the Krypt when it's opened.
Huh, normally I'd say this should probably be in Fan Submission, being a fan site and all. I'll consult with the other staffers and see if they need to move it.
Regardless, that's a fine site you have there. It's a good little info-dump that can be polished up and left for future MK movie enthusiasts to come check out. I'd say link it in a couple place, gets some affiliates, and you're all set! Perhaps, if you're feeling adventurous later, you can add upon it with other MK media like the TV shows and webisodes.
Good work and keep it up!

New information just in on who played the Outworld Warrior who was kicked by Sonya onto the table of food, what some of that food was, and more details from martial arts stuntman Donnie Hair:
"yea Kelcy, there were four of us who did the actuall martial arts fight scenes!! we played different parts through out the movie, with diferent masks on. The best scene to actually see and know its me is the fight scene with Sonya, when she kicks me onto a table of food and says "thats the way I like em Dumb & Ugly" I had to get thrown on limburger cheese over & over all day!! Thanks!! and yes outworld warrior!"

For some reason, this website never works for me.

^ Make sure you're clicking on the link and that MK/ is capitalized. Most of it is up, a few things I have left unfinished because I am involved with Donnie Hair's Superfights, who was a stuntman in the Mortal Kombat movie.

Probably when I go back to working on the site. Since I'm actually Donnie Hair's backstage director for an upcoming mma fight event I'm devoted to that and my graduate studies plus I'm President of my CC's film club, so I'm pretty busy for something that's free and time-consuming.
