i think the fight that really disapionted me was kitna/sindel
i mean come on that was slo an sloppy,
plus the sonya/ermac/noob fight , sonya so did'nt need jax's help to fight those lame ass ninja's,



p.s, i thought the sub-zero/scorpion fight was good not one of the best but far from one of the worst.

Agreed, I liked this fight - though Sub Zero shouldn't have taken his mask off (and subsequently they shouldn't have had that "I kiilled you in the tournament" speech) until after he fought Scorpion.

As for most disappointing, hmmm I'd have to say Liu Kang vs. Shao Kahn, mainly cus of the 'animality' part. I honestly cringe every time I see this part of the movie, it's just awful. The rest of the fight was pretty lame as well, a few good moves, but Brian Thompson was just such a crappy Kahn. When the Elder Gods come down and declare Mortal Kombat, it was kinda cool, but still - weak fight scene. Oh and Kahn shoulda kept his mask on as well...

I thought Sonya vs. Kano in the first film was kinda crap and Lui Kang vs. Shao Khan was awful. I didnt think Lui Kang vs. Sub zero was that good either

Sonya vs. Kano. What a waste of Trevor Goddard's abilities.

- Sub-Zero vs. Liu Kang - This was the most disappointing fight in the entire Movie. Sub-Zero and Liu exchange a few kicks and hits and then Sub-Zero starts to run away. Guess it weren't his fighting skills that took Scorpion down.

- Kitana vs. Sindel - Nothing needs to be said.

- Sonya vs. Kano - As a chosen warrior for the Tournament she really didn't display a lot of skill.

i agree that Sub-Zero Vs. Scorpion wasen't the worst, but i thought it should have lasted longer, and that it was kinda underwhelming.

Shao Kahn VS Liu Kang: Terrible

Kitana VS Sindel: Terrible and boring

Sonya VS Kano: Could had been so much better. The leg grab fatality saves this fight (one of the best things in the movie).

Too bad Trevor Goddard sold it wrong and kept on breathing after his neck had been snapped....

I think the most disappointing fight was Johnny Cage vs. Shao Khan in the begining of the second film. Boy, that sucked balls...

I would not call that a fight man more of a attack that failed. The anamalitlies in the Kahn VS Lui Kang fight were terrible they llok like "Jason and the Argonauts" or "Simbad" couldnt they have used better SFX.

Just about all of the fights were dissapointing in MK:A, but in MK the most dissapointing fight had to have been Goro vs. Johnny Cage, because it was so short and also there wasn't a lot of fighting.

I think one of the most underrated fights was Liu Kang and the black guy with the braids that got his soul took by Shang Tsung. They used weapons and that was a great part and plus it was real intense.

i didn't like the fight scene in MK2 with Sonya VS Mileena, all it was was 2 girls rolling around in mud, i know that's a good thing, but i was expecting more action. The only good thing about it is that it had my 2 favorite warriors in it.

That wasn't a 'battle' it was Sonya and Mileena fighting in mud for fanservice.But mine would be Liu Kang vs. Sub Zero,He killed Subbie WAY

Why the hell do people keep bitching about it being fan service? Hey, I hate MKA too, but it's not like there was any cleavage in that fight, or anything remotely sexy.

in the first mk movie I'd nominate Liu Kang vs Reptile to be the worst match. Liu took a million hits [well ok,13] and stood with his head high, Reptile took 1 hit and fell to the floor calling to her mother crying. Argh, what happened...?!

annihilation. does Liu/Kitana vs Sheeva count? I suppose not. so I'll say Liu vs Baraka OR Sonya vs Mileena. considering that these stupid earthly humans fought against some pretty powerful warriors these "battles" were waaaay too short. Argh again!

If you talking about the movies, all the fights suck, they were not longer enough, you couldn't even tell what kind of martial arts stiles they were using.
sonya and kano c'mon poeple, how come some of you still call it a fight.
C,mon peolpe, MK movies, and MK games, there's nothing in common, they didn't even had the outfit right. forget everithing else. It was all a mess.

What does the fact that the movies and games have nothing in common (which is a lie) have to do with the fights?


And to the new guy, welcome to teh win, but can you really say Reptile vs. Liu Kang was worse than Sonya vs. Kano?

Jax vs The Big Monster Thing (After Sonya defeats Mileena) in MKA

The Kitana vs Sindel wasnt that bad. It kinda had to be low key, as Kitana didnt want to kill her mother or harm her severely.

Liu vs. Reptile (MK1)
Sonya vs. Kano (MK1)

AHHH that was one of the bests! MIleena did a lot of moves in that and her SAIS kicked butt PSH!!!! that was soooo good!

Ah, that fight was ridiculously stupid. He dropped the cage on her and she died. Wow.

I didn't like them all very much, they were all way to short and static.
The one that I found most bareably was the one between Scorpion and Johnny Cage. That one was fast paced and had a nice sound to it.

But the very worst was Sub-Zero vs Liu Kang. Oh my god that one was short, and the fact that Liu could throw a bucket of water that could transform in an iced projectile didn't make it any better.

Fot the next MK movie they really need to take a look at the fight scenes in MKQ, thos are really fast and last a good couple of minutes. Remember the Scorpion VS Sub-Zero fight scene?? Now that was a FIGHT SCENE!!!!

But I guess if you take actors like Goddard and Wilson, you cannot do fight scene's like in MKQ, you really need expert martial artists. So if I was to direct the third movie, i'd go for the pro's. It's easier to coach a martial artist to act better than an actor to do better fight scene's.
