Name some things that you believe the producers will do that will be a MISTAKE.

Here are some of my concerns

1. They ressurect Johnny Cage from the dead

Now, I know that Johnny Cage is an all-time-favorite. He was definitely one of (if not the 1st) my favorite characters, in the MKII video game. Believe me when I say I LOVE(D) Johnny Cage. But, rather he is the greatest of all time or not, I could not concieve in my mind, in any way, as to how they could work this into the storyline without totally ruining the authenticity of the story. It would truly take an out-of-this-world genius to come up with something like this. And, knowing that the same guy who produced MK:Annihilation is working on this film, I highly doubt that there are any of those working around this movie. I don't mean to insult any of the producers of MK:A (I could'nt have done a better job), but, I have to be realistic.

2. Bring back the main cast of MK:Annihilation

Lin Red Williams: The only thing I actually did like about Williams was his comic relief. It added a realness to his character, and the whole film, but, it's one thing to be down to earth, but, it's nother thing to be GHETTO. This is what completely turned me off with Williams. He was just too common and stereotypical...(I have to continue this --I'm being cut off...)
Honestly, I think this will be better than the previous two films... It better be, since we've waited this long more MK3.

Im being positive about this movie.
The main thing is...

If ermac, rain, cyrax, smoke and most others that died in mka are not in the movie.

they better give those guys another chance!

I think this movie stands a good chance of being better than MKA, but I'd be very surprised if it came even close to being as good as the first. I'm just reading the vibes.

John R Leonetti, that will make mk3 a bad movie, because he was also responsible for MKA and that one sucked.

...Sandra Hess: I have been nice her for a long time, now, but I just can't hold it in any more. Hess was horrible as Sonya Blade. And, her looks are just mediocre (average). I'm not saying that Sonya has to be sexy, but Hess was just boring, to me. If she does get the roll of Sonya, suggest she really get an EXSTREEM MAKEOVER. Not trying to be mean, at all (not my style), just being truthful and honest.

3. They don't spend enough time on casting

One of the mistakes they made with MK:A was the cast. I don't think it would have made a big difference, anyway, be ause of the directors, the script, and the overall film. However, it just seem to me like they picked up the phone, dialed the closest actor/actress and asked "would you like to be in a Mortal Kombat film?" I really suggest that they do more research, before casting (it is important), or this will be a horrible downfall of the next movie.

costumes: I'm almost sure that those were Holloween costumes, in the MK:Annihilation film. Come on. It looked like someone's grandmother sowed those costumes together. You could look at the costumes and tell that they were'nt taking this movie seriously. In MK3, They should really put more effort into the art.

They just need to put more effort into the whole project.

Well, I can't predict anything because they let out almost no information But there is what I have to list that I HOPE they don't do.

Kill liu kang- That would be a BAD Idea. It's okay in the games but this is a movie and killing a lead character in a movie will fuck up the whole thing.

Add every character accept for two-...Nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo! don't! I think this one is self explanitory.

try to be just like the game- Another BAD idea. It's a movie, not a game, if you have to change something or even add or remove a character to make the movie run well, By all means, do it! if you have to change the color on someones costume or even change their whole costume all together- DO IT! raiden had a totally different costume in the 1st MK film....Did we complain? NO why, Because it was a good change!

And I can't really say that I couldn't have done better on MKA... because I could have!

Umm, I must dissagree there bucko. Changing things around for the movie is one of the biggest things people complained about. The Shinnok-Kahn-Rayden family tree? What was that. Rayden's costume wasn't that different in the movie.

What would make the next MK movie suck is if they continue it from MKA. I'd like them to pretend MKA never happend, and make a MK2 again.

Cyrax, smoke and Sindel looked pretty good to me, and if Kahn kept his mask on he would have been cooler too!

I would rather pretend MKA never happened and make another sequel for the first movie, but if they do continue from MKA:

1)Do not have a thousand characters and just kill them off quickly without a fight or purpose. Ex. Rain, Sheeva, and Kabal and Stryker who were imprisoned off screen. The f#ck was they thinkin about!!!!?

2)Story should just focus on MK4 showing the return of Shinnok who was bannished to the Netherealm at the end of MKA. It should have a cliffhanger ending for the next movie to be based on Deadly Alliance.

3) All characters should be able to use at least one of their special moves during the whole movie. I guess they did ok with that with a few characters.

4) Use fatalites in the movies instead of seeing Sonya snap peoples neck all the damn time.

5) Mainly just focus on a good storyline and goals and purposes for each character. Definetly have to have intense and extended fights. Let everyone fight at least once.

I don't mean changing things around just for the hell of it. I mean changing things around to fit a movie. I'm talking about the changes in MK1. Most of those were good changes and look at raiden in mk1 the game and then look at him in the movie. The costume is completely different with the exception of the hat and the color. Along with shang tsungs costume, Jonny cages' costume, Kitana's costume, Kano's costume, even scorpion and sub-zero had some movie changes.
Not tomention their background was different as well. There are more changes that made MK1 good but I can't think of them right now. Though I do agree with you that they should act like MKA didn't exist.

Oh yes my name aint bucko wink

I know how frustrating MK:A was, that you just wish it never happened. But, I don't think that you can pretend that a movie never existed. Once a movie is made, it's already out thier. But, like I've been saying, it's going to take some genius work to fix the MK series, because, a lot of storyline glitches are going to have to be fixed. along with some ingenius manipulation of the series, to resuscitate the Mortal Kombat franchise.

Oh, and here's another suggestion for the producers. STOP KILLING ALL OF THE CHARACTERS!

This could be a way to make it seem like MKA never happened storywise. They could say the whole movie was a false dream put on one of the main characters (likely Liu Kang) by someone evil like Quan Chi. If it was a false dream Liu Kang had, it was probably done to fool him into thinking he had saved the world again. This would also lead to his death scene in MK3.

Whatever it's only my suggestion. It might be the only good way to say that MKA never happened storywise.

to me, these people best not put sex in this movie, now in mka where jade and liu kang kissed, thats alright, but i dont want to see two warriros fight, kick each in the head, then start doing IT on the arena, that be just stupid, and another thing, if they didnt bring back johnny cage that be bad

!

Alot of movies that were sequels act like the one before didn't exist. For example Scream 3 made it look like Scream 2 never happened, nothing was mentioned about the killers from part 2.
Anyways, how will they bring back Johnny Cage. Will he pop out of that giant hand that raised him after he died in the beginning of MKDA

i guess he could just walk up to the people as if nothing even happened, but one thing i think, they should make over the movies, start again with the first movie, but have them ACTUALLY stick to the story line of the games, not go with all this stupid shit like shang tsung making sub-zero and scorpion his bitches, but its just my thought

If they follow the story of the game directly, the movie will lick big salty hairy balls.

Hmmm well, see, you're alone on that one. You're the first person I've ever heard saying something even simmilar to that.
I mean, I've heard bad critics about the MK Movie, saying it had bad acting, bad special effects, unoriginal storyline...
but sweet jesus and mary, you really had to rewind and watch it again after the first fifteen minutes because you didn't get it???
Maybe you're the problem.

MK3 sounds like a good movie, but no one will probably wanna watch it, cuz #2 wuz so wack. So it has to do a lot better job than 1 or 2, or it'll be another screwup. #1 wuz awesome, and i still watch it, but #2 should have never even came out. They didn't have the same actors, their wuz a lot romance between lui kang and princess katana. Also they killed johnny cage. that made my mouth drop, and that really sucked. So i say that #3 better be, (and i hopeit will be) alot better. Cuz I'm a big fan of Mortal Kombat.(But that don't mean i'm a freakin geek).

oh and another thing that would screw the movie up is if their screw the names up, like in the first movies credits it said "jaxx" instead of jax, damn dumb asses
spelling a character's name wrong by adding a letter doesn't hurt the quality of the film, especially when most people don't even pay attention to that, and the face that it's AFTER the movie presentation.
