The film, The Little Things, distributed by Warner Bros. and available on HBO Max until February 28, depicts a small snippet where store customers are playing an original arcade version of Mortal Kombat (1992).

Given the fact the MK trailer shows a reptilian creature resembling Godzilla, it is save to assume WB is cross-promoting its films.

Mortal Kombat hasn't seen a crossover among different IPs since MK: Defenders of the Realm on USA. Known as The Dragon King, you can find out more at my resurrected Web Site: http://www.wskel.com/MK/

It would sure be funny if that Reptile shot was just for a Godzilla cross-promotion. Imagine if when you finally see the movie Reptile looks completely different. It would be wonderful. But also doubtful.

I wonder if the arcade cabinet will be in the final cut of the little things, or if it's inserted purely as a cross-promotional easter egg.

1. There is no official confirmation, only fan speculation, that creature even is Reptile. Greg Russo called him reptilian, not Reptile. Most fan speculation has been wrong about this film unless it came directly from a leaked script, which is still subject to error because the filmmakers did look like they changed some things up.

2. It's already on HBO Max. That IS the final cut of the movie.
