Who knows right? I mean, besides the crappy fighting, Bridgette Wilson was a good Sonya...Cool attitude and decent acting, she fit the role well. Personaly I don't think it would have been as good with Diaz in the role.

The same question could be asked of Johnny Cage's role had Brandon Lee (who was an awesome martial artist) not died...

Cameron Diaz and Bridgette Wilson are similar in a few ways, but in my opinion Sonya was still portrayed best by Bridgette Wilson and with Cameron Diaz's new found fame, she would be stupid to try and land the roll of Sonya blade when she has millions of offers from highly acclaimed directors to be in promised hollywood-blockbusters which would in fact make her more millions to add on to her millions.

well...cameron is 100 times prettier than wilson, so in my opinion the movie would have been better

Im not a Sonya fan, but I thought Brigette WIlson was awsome as Sonya in the movie and I quite liked her in the movies. Sandra Hess wasnt as good, but for consistency, she should play Sonya as I doubt Wilson will back. Is Sandra hess not taking up the role again?

better. though bridgette and sandra are finer. but they so obviously did no training for it. actually no, bridgettes fine it just would have been cool to see a celeb in it. (a real one). then maybe bridgette would have been in mka and somehow make it not suck
