it destroyed all expectations

I was speechless.....I took up drinking shortly there after.

I was mostly wondering how Robin Shou could do that to his career...

I watched the movie and I was like
"They fucking squished Sheeva!!!!"
And I pretty much went on about that for a couple of weeks.
"What was Shinnok all about!!!!!"
For a couple more weeks.
"Was Johnny Cage even in the movie!?!"
For a month!
"Heyyyy.............Rain and Ermac didn't even have a purpose! They were just in there for show!"

And then I was like
"Meh, I forget even watching it. I should watch it again..."

I thought the movie was ok considering it is a mk movie, But there was alot of things wrong with it that I didnt like. When i finished watching the movie I couldnt believe that they made the movie like that. Hopefully the 3rd movie will have a much better plot

If this movie came out in 1997 I would have been 11 years old...

I was happy that they included more fight scenes.. and I liked the fight scene with Cyrax.... but then Rain goes.. poop... and then sheeva goes poop... and then Noob Saibot starts playing hide in Ermac..

Did I mention that Liu Kang getting hit with an axe by Nightwolf only to find himself near Jade while the whole area turns from snow into desert a bit confusing? Nightwolf couldn't figure out that someone deceiving was near?

Animality? You mean laughiality. Where did the cool Raiden go? HEY! That's not Johnny Cage!

Oh.. there is supposed to be a story in a movie.. I forgot about that.. where did that go? =P

Hmm, I havent watched MKA in awhile. I just rented the first one a little while ago, it was OK. I have the second one downstairs on a recorded VHS (with "Bean" on it too, yay!). I'll have to watch it real soon, but as far as I can remember, I thought it was good. I don't know, I'll have to watch it again. I remember that Cyrax part was nice and so was the end when they fight Motaro, Sindel, Noob&Someone Else (cant remember) and Shao Kahn.

The ninjas in MKA look like friggin retards, what the hell is goin on there?? They got some pretty crappy actors to replace the original cast bar Liu Kang and Kitana. The cyborgs looked bloody awesome though. I loved it the first time I saw it only because it was a Mortal Kombat movie, if it wasn't MK i would've left not even half way through the movie!
The first one rules ass!!! Hopefully the 3rd will be heaps better than the 2nd.

I loved it.I was still in elementary so I didn't care about plot.I was young and I thought it was great.Now I know storylines of characters and I realize that the movie destroyed the mk experience.
