I'd like to see the Dragon King actualy. I think he'd make a great boss for the movie, as would Quan Chi - either would be perfect.

Shang Tsung, Shao Kahn and Shinnok shouldn't be available if they follow the story of MK1 and MKA...

It's a shame because Shang Tsung was the only good villain in either movie. Bringing him back to form the Deadly Alliance with Quan Chi would be cool for MK3, since MK:Annihilation kinda covered MK3 and MK4.

Since the movie line wasted the storyline a lot it is hard to say. In my opinion though, the Dragon King. By the time the movie gets into gear MK:Deception will have hit the stores, and the movie will try to stay as close to the games as possible. That's why they didn't do MKA based off of MKII the game. The first film was done when MK3 hit the arcades. MKA was done right as MK4 hit the arcades that's why Shinnok was in the movie. Based off the movies, Shang Tsung is dead, and Kahn, and Shinnok are both gone as well. We haven't seen Quan Chi yet, nor the Dragon King. Let's wait and see.

I think the Deadly Alliance is a good idea.

I mean, it's not a very big budget from what I heard. So, they should wait to see if this does well. If it does, they can do a better job and making the Dragon King come to life in the next one!

I agree. I was thinking they should make two movies; the fist based on DA, and the second be based on Deception. I don't want it to be like Matrix though. I would like the first movie to have a good, solid ending, but also an opener to the second *like showing the Dragon Egg hatching, then end the movie*

Cage is a different story.

Bring back Goro in a cybernetic form with some cool weapons. Have Shang Tsung and Quan Chi battle it out at the first of the movie so the winner can take Goro and devise a new and masterful evil plan.

I think they should base the movie off of MKD but not soley focus on the dragon king deal. I think that Noob Saibot should be the main villian. If they focused on the story line around his ending on MKD it could turn out to be great.

Agreed, since Raiden's now an Elder God, and we got appearances from a few new characters. Quan Chi will probably arive, and there will probably be a scene where he revives Shang Tsung, stronger than ever. They make an alliance, and decide to try to fuse Earth Realm and Outworld once again.

Wait, since MK: Devastation/Domination/whatever is going to completely ignore Annihilation and continue on from the first movie, are you talking about it, or the movie they're making AFTER it?

Devastation/Domination/whatever will most likely retell the events in Annihilation, with Shao Kahn's invasion being the primary event. The movie after it, however, will probably be a combo of Mk4 and Deception storyline, or possibly just Deception.

Ideally, I think they should smush Mk3, MK4, and a hint of Deadly Alliance into one movie: Kahn invading earth with help from Shinnok, while Quan Chi goes off on his own to find the Dragon King's army and revive it. His meddling would lead to Onaga's return and set up the next movie.
