How do you feel about this? Ronda Rousey's voice casting as Sonya wasn't that well-received (add to the fact her ship was long sailed and women's MMA appears to be on decline), do you think the MK fans would like a wrestler, who's gimmick actually does share a lot in common with this newer narcissist twist on the Johnny Cage character? https://movieweb.com/mortal-kombat-2-miz-johnny-cage/

UPDATE: I just learned UFC Fight Pass has just dumped Invicta FC after posting this, strengthening my statement women's MMA is on the decline. Without the UFC's backing, whose events literally drew no crowds anyway, so it was similar to Universal Studios' TNA relationship (except TNA had bigger crowds), I don't imagine Invicta FC standing the test of time. With it will go the female fight genre, especially as it relates to female MMA, in motion pictures, at a time when new female MMA fight films were also starting to decline as male MMA fight films are still being made but they lost their touch years ago.

For those interested, new female fight films include Hellkat, Ragdoll, Chokehold, Chick Fight (featuring Bella Thorne) and Girl Blood Sport. Clearly the genre has remained in the indie circuit with only Chick Fight having an A-list celebrity as a star as well as Adam Baldwin.
