Kitana fans are indifferent to every other character not named Kitana. I like Kitana, but I hate her fans (read fans)

D'Vorah was my favourite newcomer of the eight in MKX. I think NRS are also big fans of her when I was reading their notes about her from the MKX Krypt. I am so happy that she is back in MK11! So excited. I can not wait for some gameplay and see her in action.

It does not look like she has got the robe any more. I wonder what we can customise her with. I think possibly the tentacles she has would be one.

At this rate, Im guessing a lot of the requested characters will be SHUT UP YOU GOT EM DLC slots. Lol

I approve of her new design -- even more insect inspired than before. I like the hives on her shoulders. Hopefully, her gameplay is improved over MKX.

hey i have no issues with people, and i don't hate characters not named Kitana, i saw Kabal revealed and liked how he played, D'Vorah looks like a hybrid Robotic Insect now but i do not hate her

I will skip the Cassie/Cage Family reveal this year, same with the Briggs Family reveal they have probably planned, those destroyed my entire expectations of the game, and those expectations came through as MKX roster sucked ass, I so hope Cassie is still a secondary build for Sonya Blade.

I hope Erron Black and Kotal Kahn are also in this game though!

I hope she doesn't go anywhere, I love her since MK2 same with Mileena, but most Kitana fans MUST hate Mileena for some reason I will never understand in my life.

my main issue with these games since back in the day is the faces, that's where i will sound shallow i know everyone is in their own right of being good looking, but Sonya's face in mk11 really bugs me, Kitana's has not be pretty since like ever mkx was ok but like i mentioned Mileena had a softer more girly look to her which confused me,

now D'Vorah looks different from her mkx look she now looks like a mash up of one of the females from that game John Tobias created Tao Feng her name was Geist and Aria from Killer Instinct 2013 had a baby

Iiiiiii... am freaking stoked to hear D'Vorah is in. Moreso than Kabal even. For a few reasons...

1) Thumbs up for one less "one and done" character...

2) One of my favorite new characters from MKX, well deserved return. She was easily one of the most intriguing of the newbies, and her story left her tons of open-ended room for a return. I'm eager to see where she fits into the picture after betraying Kotal, but with Shinnok removed from power.

3) I'm eager to see where she fits into the time travel story, and if we'll get more insight to D'Vorah's mostly as-yet-unseen role in the old timeline (I know that would mostly be retcon, but they began it already in MKX, so... might as well see where it takes us)

4) Her confirmation debunks any number of fake leaked rosters. So hey, high five for that, am I right?

ALL THAT SAID... yeah... hate the new look. Looked way better in MKX. Looks like Gollum now. Fingers crossed that customization options will do her a few favors, lol.

3 girls Sonya, D'Vorah and Skarlet and all 3 of them for their render image are not looking at you they are looking away

I love the way D'Vorah looks in 11. It makes me think she is evolving or becoming a possible "queen" of her species.

I love that D'vorah is ugly, MK always needed more ugly women in it, away with the models!

Also I think Erron, Ferra & Pet and Kotal Kahn need to be in here, they were all so special and cool! Throw in a newly designed Kung Jin, and those are enough returns from MKX newbies.

I'm happy the leaks are fake, BUT, that means Rain's chances are again slim....

Here's my theory...

NRS Official tweet about the D'Vorah reveal said, "The Kytinn hive will survive at any cost."

Since they basically have the inside track on the plot... I'm examining that sentence, and asking, "Survive what? Is the Kytinn hive in jeopardy." ... combine that with the fact that she betrayed all her allies in MKX, including Kotal & Earthrealm, in order to aid her true master Shinnok, who is now a gurgling head... combine that with the fact that D'Vorah looks very disheveled in her new look...

And I'M thinking D'Vorah's new story will revolve around her being on the run and at the end of her rope, but also trying to ensure the survival of her species in a world that's completely out to get her for what she did in MKX.

That's my thought. I'm guessing this is "last ditch effort to rebuild some sort of power" D'Vorah.

BUT... just guessing.

People seem to keep forgetting the story is all about time travel. The past is going to get changed meaning the event of MKX or anything after is likely to change or not happen at all.

However, I think we're most likely to get the best of both timelines.

Wow, absolutely floored that D’vorah made it in. I honestly didn’t expect her back this game. Solid choice, though. One of the better new additions. Her fatalities are gonna be sick.

D'Vorah was one of the characters in MKX to display genuine intelligence in MKX story. She had been in Kotal's court and advisor for years while being a double agent for the Brotherhood of Shadow, correctly deduced Rain was using Mileena and successfully delivered the amulet to Quan Chi.

While not taking the quote supplied by NRS to seriously, I would think that D'vorah might ally with Kronika since she burnt her bridges and rewinding time does probably get her into a better situation then the one she found herself at the end of MKX. Also, Kronika seems to pity Shinnok and probably wants to help him in someway.

Daanish Syed said on Twitter that D'Vorah has one of the best fatalies ever in Mortal Kombat. Not sure it is hyperbole but yeah, it is a safe bet she will have gruesome fatalities.

That said, time travel doesn't necessarily mean events as we know them thus far are wiped out. We know that there will be time meddling, and characters from the past (possibly the original timeline) will collide with characters from the present (and possibly the current timeline), but we've seen no indication that the past will be changed and the present will be wiped out entirely. Why on Earth would you make that leap?

I sincerely doubt they're just going to throw the current timeline in the garbage and start over from square 1 all over again. I do think we'll likely get a little bit of shuffling to bring aspects of the old timeline NRS liked back into the new one... possibly even something of a merger... but there's no way I think characters like Cassie, D'Vorah & Kotal won't continue existing and moving forward from where they left off in MKX, that's just a silly assumption.

I mean we KNOW we're going to see the current timeline characters progressing already... we've SEEN the Revenents, and dark Raiden, and Cassie in several trailers. Why would that not extend to D'Vorah?

Honestly seeing D'vorah like this makes me happy. I'd love to see Ferra/Torr designs for MK11

Wow, I’m legit surprised by this, and very happy too! I thought she was one of the coolest and most unique concepts they came up with in MKX, so it’s great to see her return.

Its so nice to see another MKX newbie in as well. Honestly, with the exception of Ferra/Torr, who feels kinda one and done to me, I’d be happy to see any other MKX newbies return, especially Erron Black.

I just love that this isn’t quite so Trilogy-centric. I’m sure we’ll see a lot of Trilogy characters, but it also looks like we’re getting a balance, which is all I’ve wanted.

As for her look, I dug the hive shoulders, and while I prefer her hooded, that’s what customization is for, and I can only wonder what awesome new tricks she’ll have to play with this time around.

Go away. I've seen this comment a thousand times on Twitter and Youtube from mindless crybaby Mileena fans. I hope they replay her face getting eaten again in the MK11 story mode.

We're finally getting fun, interesting, well designed, non-human characters being brought back and not being "one-and-done" chars and in typical MK fan fashion it's met with nothing but salt.

But hey, enjoy playing Sonya for the umpteenth time. That's never gotten old.
