Or a simple answer, I don't give a crap about what you think of me. And I also know you are just using me as an easy way to get likes from a couple of the same people over and over again. Rather cheap.

Intelligence? Who needs that? The true bane of humankind.

Everybody that disagrees with me is a Bieber and Cyrus fan, I would rather end myself.

I'm not a fan of Justin Bieber or Miley Cyrus, just to be clear. I listen to a lot of Hip-Hop and damn near anything that isn't bubblegum pop/rap. You refer to people as "humans" as though you're some sort of alien, or maybe a furry, which isn't a recognized species, lol.

I'm also not the one paying attention to the "Likes" I'm receiving. But, now that you've brought that to my attention, maybe you're just a tad envious, maybe even resentful that I've accumulated more than you. I don't see any other reason for making that a subject of conversation. I'm not focused on garnering positive feedback for my opinions, which is seemingly in contrast to why you even bother spewing forth the inane drivel that you so carelessly leave behind every one of your posts.

You'll find that the vast majority if not all of the users here will label you a cancer to those around you and, in time, your inane rants will garner no interest. If you want to enjoy your stay here, I suggest that you learn to speak your mind in a manner that doesn't give people reason to believe that you're unable to see reason and are so small-minded that, no matter how you're approached, you'll never give an inch. Pick your battles and your words, kid.

Uhm, why would I feel envy? I have 57 likes for some strange reason, not much behind you, so no that isn't really the case here. I just think you like getting likes so people will see you as a God-like poster, something I don't care for at all, as you can notice.

I did post some normal posts, but where is the fun in that? Without my hateful posts we would never have seen your funny arguments against me and your many likes, actually, you are nothing without me, you need me for likes darling! Havik needs his chaos, and my Anunnaki masters need your human brains.

I actually know a couple of Luna's. The name actually just means moon, but in the Netherlands, the name is actually wide-spread.

Btw (again) The names Luna and Kelly were both sarcastic, they are just as bad as Cassie and Jacqui, but at least Kelly suits the whole picture of Cassie more.

I'm well aware that luna means moon. Anyone with an elementary school education does. You still haven't presented an actual alternative. You've just set forth a personal disdain for relatively common names based off of stereotypes.

If we're gonna do that, then let me relate another good ole high school yarn for ya kiddo. I knew a fella named Justin. He was about 5 years older than me. He had a deep love of folklore, knew some of the most esoteric things about the legends of ancient cultures. Liked DnD, Magic the Gathering, WoW. Then one day his mother said he couldn't go camping. So he stabbed her to death with a fantasy sword he bought at a carnival and blew his brains out when the cops arrived. True story.

I can't be the only one laughing at this guy instead of getting pissed off right?

I'm rather enjoying myself, lol. Honestly, I've been in this for the laughs, to drop facts on those who are willing to read more than two lines of text, and to try to help this hate-filled individual realize that his attitude can and will have a negative impact on his stay here. If that's his goal, it's not like I'm wasting precious time angrily stabbing at my keyboard as a means of getting information or my opinion across, lol. I'm just a fan of an incredible video game who's simply taking the time to interact with those at a website that brings about nostalgia during each visit.

Well sweetypie, you like Mortal Kombat, so are you a danger to your family as well? You just said all people with a love for Folklore/Mythology are mass-killers? Lol. Well maybe you are right and I'm an insane killer who wants to be like the Native American madness demon called Ewah, but maybe it's just maybelline.

I've been meaning to ask this for like 2 days now, but how old are you anyway?

I'm really not trying to be snarky, or cute, or set up a flaming insult here. I find it stupid when people attack age in internet forums. I've known smart young people, and dumb old people, and vice versa. I'm just genuinely curious for the sake of context. Trying to get a clearer picture of your perspective here.

You're venturing into a realm of which you do not want to be a part, kid. Trust me on that. The blind swings you're taking with your repeated and inaccurate assumptions about individuals, me included, are just going to leave you open for quite the verbal haymaker. If I needed positive attention, I wouldn't go the route I assume you take in angrily punching your keyboard in an effort to make those reading your thoughtless and hate-filled comments feel the rage radiating from their screens. There's no conspiracy going on behind closed doors where I'm working in secret, gathering together a posse of individuals who are willing to spear the "Like" button for me. They do it because I'm saying things that make sense, I'm refraining from being vulgar, and it's clear that I'm a fan of reason.

Admittedly, I haven't known what it's like to be deficient in positive reinforcement from those around me because I'm not lonely and I don't dissuade anyone from being in my presence by insanely screaming about pop culture references in video games. Even so, I genuinely sympathize with your loneliness and hope that you're able to find comfort in another who can learn to appreciate you for the unreasonably resentful human that you are.

By the way, I have to break something to you in relation to your Anunnaki masters. THEY'RE NOT REAL. Cassie Cage and Jacqui Briggs are more real than your masters because we can actually see them, lol.

Ah, my Anunnaki masters are a lie? What a bummer. Now you made me sad. Not as sad you are gonna be when they reach out to you eventually, lol.

I could also reply to your comments about me being a lonely, picked-on human, but that would spoil too much fun, and I must stay in my alien role.

... None of this is helping.

Look, I know it's possible to have a reasonable conversation with you, Nuckelavee. We just had a downright respectful and surprisingly productive back-and-forth about Ashrah over in the BruskPoet thread. And it went so well because you didn't seem to feel the need to get your jollies rogered by playing the provocateur on that one, and sending the conversation hurtling over the guardrail.

I've disagreed with you on many points about Cassie and Jacqui, yet I have close to zero interest (positive or negative) in Justin Bieber or Miley Cyrus. "Everyone who disagrees with me is a _____" is just... the lamest argument to make and saying things like that makes it impossible to take your opinions seriously.

You say you don't care what other people think of you, but come on dude, you and all of us know better than that. Your comments about "humans" suggest that you have a bit of an outsider complex, possibly because you're not used to being respected. So you feel like you can get one over on everybody else by acting like a troll (yes, a troll -- it's a tired act and the common name for it doesn't warrant any more creativity than that).

It doesn't have to always be like that, though. If you look around this forum, you'll notice that plenty of people are expressing their opinions respectfully and being treated respectfully by others in turn. It only goes to shit when people start acting like immature assholes, and cling to a desperate need to hate things without being able to articulate a thoughtful reason why it's bad. Or refuse to even acknowledge another point of view, arguing against it with personal insults instead of reasoned points.

Talk, and people will talk to you. Listen, and people will listen to you. Respect, and people will respect you.

P.S.: Yeah, if you're not a fan of the more vapid cornerstones of today's celebrity culture, then that costume for Cassie is bound to rub you the wrong way. I like the direction they're going with her updated military gear; it's more visually interesting than the "Plain G.I. Jane" uniforms everyone had going in the last game.

Figured the odds were about 50/50 when I asked, and even if you dodged the question, it's not like I'm any worse off than I was 2 minutes ago. You seem to float in and out of moments of genuine conversation here and there, between all the bullshit, so figured I might catch you in a more lucid moment. As I said, no ulterior motive for me personally, just wondered.

1: Its kinda unfair to think that I'm not used to being respected, the evilest of online trolls Popobawa are mostly rich and popular. Hell, your favorite character Cassie makes insults to EVERY other combatant for Ahuizotl-sake!

2: Cassie Cyrus and Bo Rai Fart aren't real people, so they ain't personal insults I'm farting around.

3: Good post otherwise, and awesome try, but I'm just not a nice creature, it's not in my nature to be nice, well if you are any other animal I would be, but too bad none of you are. I'm also selfish, stupid and I have Johnny Cage issues, so if there is a ignore option I would go for it. Otherwise, stay for the blasts or head-against-wall moments.

Eh. Part of me knew that kind of response was coming, and part of me wanted to give you a chance -- and score a wikked-kool Johnny Cage token for making a worthwhile contribution to the community in the process! So I took a shot on you possibly being someone I could engage the way I can with other people around here. But if that's not something you also want, then partner, I guess it's just not gonna happen.

I'm not sure how you got the idea I expect you to be "nice." Read back over my posts -- I'm not even all that nice myself. Injecting a little bit of abrasiveness into a critique keeps things lively, as you know. But abrasiveness alone isn't enough for me. It's a lot more interesting to talk with people who bring up interesting things to talk about. People who can disagree with what you have to say by bringing up valid, relevant points that you either have to figure out how to argue against, or admit you lost that one. Attitude without substance is all icing and no cake.

And sadly, you're just chock full of icing most of the time. I can never, ever feel like I've "lost" a conflict with you when all you do is sputter incoherently. Incoherent sputtering is never, ever going to shut down my confidence in my own opinions, or my perception that you really have nothing worthwhile to say. It reduces you to a rhetorical punching bag that I can beat on for practice over and over again without breaking a sweat. And I'm actually happy to keep on doing that if dunking on you means I get an opportunity to put my own thoughts out there, confident that they will go mostly unopposed by any serious argument.

Still not as satisfying as a vigorous debate, but good enough for me when I'm just wasting my time on a video game fan forum anyway.

P.S.: That selfie Fatality rules. What better way to rub it in someone's face that you won, than to post a selfie with their battered corpse just to get the 2,500+ likes on YouTube. @Nuckelavee. Whoa! Hey just because I don't agree with you doesn't mean you get to call me a Beiber/Cyrus fan! That is an unacceptably rude besmirching of my character, foul sir! Even a "madness inducing demonic water horse with no redeeming qualities" should be above falsely accusing people of being a Beiber/Cyrus fan just because we don't agree that Cassie is also one of the worst abominations to ever plague humanity (quoted description not insult, it was lifted from wiki entry as admittedly I lean more towards Greco-Roman, Egyptian, Zoroastrian, Middle Eastern, or Asian mythos myself and had to look up the rather obscure Nuckelavee...). Speaking of... considering that they are "one of the worst abominations to ever plague humanity" and you despise humanity it's ironic that you don't like them more. Then again I'm pretty misanthropic and I can't stand them so maybe even monsters have standards... which brings me back to... don't go falsely accusing people of being Beiber/Cyrus fans, too low even for a demonic water horse.

@Coltesss. I am also a massive mythology buff and roleplayer and coincidentally also NOT a mass or serial-murderer so please don't generalize in that regard either.

Actually, the Kelpie is more like the water horse, the Nuckelavee is more about the humanoid-torso which grows upon the skinless horse. They also don't breath madness, they breathe pestilence and diseases. ;-)

I love mythology (mostly the creatures and monsters, not the Gods) from any country, African, Persian, Australian, Native American, Japanese, Celtic, Ancient Greek, Scandinavian and especially South American.

I wouldn't mind this Ceto/Cetus character to be true. I would prefer more characters based on Mythology creatures, and I'm not talking about boring Dragons, Vampires, Werewolves and Unicorns, as for every Unicorn there is the Karkadann or Shadhawar, for every dragon there is a Velue/Peluda or Gaasyendietha, and for every vampire there is the Manananggal or the Vrykolakas.

I feel the need to clarify this now, @BloodFang, because I don't want you to think that I think negatively of you for your interests. Especially not because of an interest in myth and folklore, as my own focus within archaeology is religion and ritual.

I was using an extreme generalization (true as it was, sadly) to illustrate the ridiculousness of Nuckelavee's broad generalizations about people.

Likes are arbitrary. Having one person give a thumbs-up to every single post adds up to a bigger total, yet doesn't mean their posts are broadly "liked." But the empty value of post likes is a conversation for the other thread, haha. From what I've read of your posts, you seem to be fine.

Is anyone else here starting to appreciate Jacqui and Cassie a little more now, after wading through all this over-the-top hate, in a "root for the underdogs" sort of way? I mean sure, Jacqui comes off kinda flavorless and Cassie is pretty derivative with no real style signatures of her own just yet, but they're not nearly as hopeless as some people make them out to be.

It's hard enough to get some people interested in human characters to begin with; even less love goes to the good guys. So they're already having to pull hard against the fan bias towards the gods and monsters, freaks and villains of Mortal Kombat. It takes a lot of extra effort to make a new human character stand out, so I'm not all that surprised that people find these ones lacking -- even though they have just as much or more going for them in comparison to other human newcomers (or classics, even) from games past.

@Gillbob316. I have been wondering who the hell keeps giving him likes as well, lol. I see that he has more likes than I do and wonder what I've been doing wrong with my life.

What does my hobby have to do with my thought about verm... I mean humans? Some shoot-out people also played soccer, are all soccer people dangerous now?

Really. Bad bad bad example.

I wouldn't hurt a human being in my life, the karma of the planet will do that for us in the end anyway.

But enough about that now, let's talk about Jacqui being as bad as Cassie again, very interesting. (always wanted to say this, makes me feel sooooo ontopic)

EDIT: I'm stoked to see so many people wondering about my likes, for all you know, I'm giving them to myself. But I want to know who my mystery suitor is as well, are you a hotty? I'm not single, but for such a fan I can make one exception. ;-)

EDIT 2: Also if you post bad crap like Coltess just did, just blame the Nuckelavee! I'm here for you!

EDIT 3: ALSO, I actually started to appreciate Jacqui more, but the more I like Jacqui, the more I hate Cassie, why can't this world never be perfect?!? Oh lord...

Yes, all soccer players shoot people. Just as all Cassie Cage fans love Bieber and Miley. These are newtonian laws.

Kid, I can handle my own posts. I was wreaking havoc on these boards when you were in diapers and lonnnng before there was a like function. Look at my dragon points and know that negative balance comes after several years of reform and being a good boy.

You amateurs want to troll these boards? Pfah! I wrote that song... and posted the lyrics in the Drive-By thread.

I always hated soccer, and I knew something was up with those annoying hooligans, thanks for verifing my thoughts on annoying sport-humans!

And if you like Cassie Cage, yes, you should like her inspiration source as well, especially Cyrus, she is 100% cassie cage, same sarcastic bullshit humor and looks.
