Assuming the leak is accurate, i'm super curious how Jax's face model will look for mk11.

He's the only character out of the 25 we haven't seen any glimpse of. Im super pumped to see him, they've done such a great job with the characters in this game, he's really going to benefit from the gear aspect with interchangeable arms and such.

He was a beast. My only wish would be for him to get a real grappler variation. Everything else is fine. And just like Kano has customizable bionic eye, Jax will for sure have different arms to customize. And hopefully one of his skins is the purple pants.

I think we have seen Cetrion.

There's a third character in a similar color scheme as Kronika and Geras, I assumed it was Cetrion at least.

Ok, wow, I thought that was Centrion but it's clearly Frost. Looks like Frost isn't just some last minute addition tossed in for fan service but will actually play a HUGE part in the story- especially being a disciple/vessel of some sort for Kronika.

Now that's a worthy return for a long absent 3D era character if true.

Are you actually implying Geras' inclusion affects Jax's simply because they're both large black men?

Man, I have to say I feel like there is some bitter hatred in this thread, and not from people I would expect. I'm surprised there is so much controversy over such a long-standing, series staple character.

I personally really like Jax, however I was prepared to see him sit this one out for a couple of reasons. One, because it seemed logical that he would hand down his role to his daughter, and two because in the story he was retired and only came back in MKX because he had special insight to use against Shinnok and Quan Chi. I think Jax as a character has been through a lot and I would have been happy to picture him relaxing on his farm, working on his tractors knowing that he did his part in defending the realm.

However the source of the roster leak (which in my opinion are 100 percent confirmed now) listed "JAX" as one of the other roster spaces. This was kind of a nice surprise and now I feel like there is more possibility to see him. If he is in he will definitely be welcome to me. Hope to see him soon!

I predict that we'll see only his younger version maybe with his arms still on and he will be among the warriors summoned by "white" Raiden from the past (Liu Kang, Kung Lao, Jade and Kitana).

Old Jax will appear only in cutscenes and maybe will be a skin for younger Jax that's it

About secrets no, Deadly Alliance and Deception had no further secrets than the ones revealed. Those games were data mined to hell and back and nothing new was discovered

The only mk game that still has secret is umk3 and only minor things.

In shaolin monks there was another rumored secret, but later it was revealed to be "survival mode" and non-working NPCs.

Also, Raiden was supposed to be playable in versus mode. Johnny Cage and Kitana had a small playable portion of the main game where they save Liu and Kung (basically the Goro and Mileena boss fights).

I'd say there's something a little off about the idea that both the black male characters need to be big muscly grappler types. That's one reason I'd like to see Kai make a return.

Obviously, not, Jax is in isn't he? At least according to those pretty accurate leaks.

But they are both big strong grapplers that have the same exact type of brute playstyle- that goes a little deeper than them both sharing the same skin tone and gender.

We have THREE of those already- Geras/Jax/Tremor. Boring

Now with Geras, Jax is no longer just irrelevant (as usual), but redundant and a lot less cooler.

Jax could get lost forever. But if the leaks are true, he's not going anywhere anytime soon.

It's funny, we wind up on the same side for vastly different reasons. I cannot quantify how much more I like Jax more than Jacqui; humanity cannot fathom such an extreme number. However, I like the idea of Jax being killed to redeem the concept of Jacqui and to give her any semblance of characterization.

Jax is one of my most favorite fighters, if not in base game, i wouldnt mind him as DLC.

It would be awesome if they scanned the guy who originally was Jax back on MK2, he's still in awesome shape.

I can get behind this. As a matter of fact instead of them pandering with modern media personalities, I wish they would stand by the people who helped them build the legacy of MK and use the likenesses of people like John Parrish, Rich Divizio, Kerri Hoskins, John Turk ect.

They have the tech now to perfectly recapture their likenesses so why not?
