Let's hope the rumors are true and hey did note mistake Nathan Drake and the Assassins creed guy as possible new content since they are at a Sony event and they mentioned "he" was not in the PS3 version. If it is MK characters, I hope for Havik and Reiko.

7. Killer Instinct cross-over characters (well it is obvious that the NRS is either already working on KI3 with RARE or they are regardless planning on SOMETHING!!! YEAH!!! HEY!!! Maybe Black Orchid/Fulgore as a promotion for another future game???


1. Motaro was a fan selected statue. We voted for him to be made. It's not suspicious in the least.

2. There's some plausibility in that, but I doubt they'd throw Fujin in when they already have models for other unused characters (Frost, Reiko, etc)

3. No.

4. Scrapped from MK9, you seem confused, that article was an April Fool's joke. Wu Lae and Tremor were minor opponents from past MK games, Aqua is a joke character (not real) and Sareena... hm.

5. Tanya, again same as Fujin, though I'm sure they'd rather make someone more fun. Tanya was pretty generic in terms of gameplay.

6. If his specials could work. Sure they were creative, but I don't know how they would transfer from MKD/A into the much faster MK9

7. No. Just... no.

I realy hope they put Havik in because I realy liked that character. He was a nice edit to MKD with a lot of potential. Reiko.. he once was ageneral in Shao Kahn's army. I think he was bad in MKA but they could do him a lot better. Or bring both back..yesglasses

I have to ask why Reiko all of a sudden, he was on the bottom tier of requests until now lol, litterally. Tanya and Fujin have one up on him by far if we're talking poll-wise, in fact it's not even in question.

I would gladly pass on Reiko, Tanya, AND Fujin, but that's just me. There is very little than interests me about any of them as fighting game characters.

I don't like Havik either...if we absolutely needed one of these order/chaos guys I would take just Hotaru and call it a day.

I would think that on the off chance that this rumor is true, the characters would more likely be a pallet swap of an existing character with a slightly modified move set.

I can't see NRS putting in the time and money to create all new character models, animations and fatalities.

I think it would be more along the lines of a "cyber reptile", or maybe "meat".

If it is true about a possible new character i don't see why it couldn't be Reiko, because just like Kenshi he was mentioned in story mode, and actually Reiko got called on to fight Kenshi by Shao Kahn during the Outworld Tournament. Or possibly a "hidden" fight or challenge tower fight with "MK3 Klassic" Cyber Smoke.

Well wikipedia is showing Li Mei and Jason Vorhees as the extra 2 characters for the Vita version!!!

I swear they better at least add Jason to the other systems via DLC, just like they added Freddy Krueger off-disk!!!

No mention to any new character. There's a Silver Trophy "Three's Company" for unlock Kenshi, Rain & Skarlet alternate outfit. No more new characters, except like Director in the new Khallenge Tower Mode.

Well if the wiki site's right then the 2 extras: Jason Vorhees and Li Mei will be DLC so there probably won't be any unlocking via in-game modes, again that is if there was a leak through wiki.

What if the new character is just shao Kahn playable like in the trailer? The rumor that 2 characters are coming could just mean another boss is playable like kintaro. Or I've heard talk of Meat being a possibility die to the xray moves I think meat would be cool and playable bosses.
