Subzero is one of the most iconic characters as we all know, and one of my faves. He looks much improved in the game.

I'd like to point out that I really like the ice-ball animation from the trailer. It looks like he's creating a little portal and when the ice forms, it looks convincing enough to look like ice.

The ice sword impale move looks like it will be a signature throw. Very cool indeed!

I hope his slide returns, and as well as icy teleport from MKvsDC.

Now I'd like to point out his appearance. The cryo mask is very cool and maybe it's just a place holder, but it doesn't really go with the rest of his revamped costume. That mask looked suiting with his previous makeovers from MKvsDC and Deadly Alliance, but I just hope they'd come with something fresh for the latest games look.

Proce's drawing of Subzero for MK9 looked very sweet and I was hoping they'd make that his primary look. Maybe as an alt?

Oh and last but not least, definitely bring back his spine and head rip fatality. From the E3 banners for MK9, it shows subzero's sillouette ripping off his enemies head so it looks like it's back. I just keep thinking about how Kratos rips off Helios' head in God of War III, and hope the animation for subzero's fatality will be similar. Show some struggle to make it look realistic and the impact will be amazing.
