She was hitting the exact same thing that Cage hits 3 times in his X-Ray. I honestly don't understand why Jade needed a crotch hit in her X-Ray. For one, we already have one, isn't that enough? And 2, it's not like her.

I also agree, I like how she holds her staff, but what about everyone else's weapons? Clearly, she can hide a bladed boomerang and Milleena and Kitana can hide bladed fans and sai respectively. All 3 main weapons can be hidden as they are or can be compact. It just seems pointless imo. But whatever. Don't question NrS, I suppose.

Other than that, awesome gameplay.

I was watchin the gameplay again and i think that her scream could just be her triangle move because when they put the input code for the fireballs you can see her move a bit wheather it d f p or f f p and with the scream you cant see and movement not even a slight step?

hopefully one day it will be possible to merge threads/takeover as official but i understand it is currently not possible. anyhoo, from the previous, thread, took some pics for those who cannot get the video(s) to work, or just want a better look at some of the action. my only concerns are sindel's scream but i have hope that the enhanced version is better, kitana's hair which i know is a dead horse topic but it is one of the few visual aspects of this beautiful game that bugs me (but that is what alts are for), and i am mildly nervous about sindel having a hair move, which i will have faith she does but it just was not shown. otherwise, massive thumbs up. this video blew me away, actually. combos looked great and the females, while cliche in heels and exposed boobage, look hot as hell... and i do not even find women attractive, so that is saying something!

I absolutely love the acoustics of that arena! You can hear every echo and I think its great!

The best part of the video is when Jade pops in to throw the boomerang, Kitana ducks when Jade throws the boomerang, then jumps when it comes back.

To me Sindel looks like she's charging her scream to be powerful. And then she releases it. I like it.

Sonya looks like she waves her left arm as a distraction to the sneaky kiss from her right arm. I don't like it.

Hmm...the only thing that I don't like about Sindel's scream is that she has to turn sideways. If the move can be charged, then why not show her taking a deep breath before she unleashes her primal scream? I think that would've been better than having her turn sideways. Oh, and I'm new to this site. I'm really loving all the female characters so far...

I'm surprise by how graceful Sindel is. I guess I thought of her as more.......rough or feral with all the scratches and stuff she had in MK3.

From What I Saw in the END Combo is that:

jade's Xray could be done (I think) when the enemy is air borne.
You could see Jade pull mileena down.

AND BTW

jade has the Best voice amongst the Female Characters

Totally agree with that. If they can't make something about Kitanas hair they should change it someway, ponytail or shorten it or a hat :)

I'll be using th eclasic MK3 costume, the best one Imo.

Thats a very good point! normily Sindels scream is a forward forward motion if I'm not mistaken so you would certainly see some movement as you say
although its possible they changed it but still

I think all the voices sound great. With the exception of Sindel, her voice sounds goo in her intro, but the gameplay moans and grunts sound like a grandma. Jade's voice is perfect, Kitana's voice is perfect, as is Mileena's

Also, Kitana's hair animation has improved a lot in the video we can see her full xray against Kung Lao, I think maybe this video was made before they had continued tweaking her hair. Jade's and Sindel's hair did the same thing Kitana's did, it just wasnt as noticeable because their hair is either shorter or in a ponytail.

I also would like to say that, bad hair animation aside, Kitana looks epic in this game, yes its not the most creative or original costume, but c'mon, this is hands down the best Kitana has ever looked. Jade looks amazing also, Mileena's costume Im not too impressed with.

Sindel and Mileena as a tag team why didn't they do this in the first place instead of having her hoe of a daughter kitana free her from Shao kahn's influnce stupid move in my opinion

Understand the fact that Jade's hair isn't totally out like Kitana's. Jade's hair is wrapped in a ponytail at a point in her hairstyle, which is why the physics in her hair isn't gonna flow like Kitana's.

Why are people saying Jade's voice is perfect, all you heard from her is grunts. Which sounds younger than how she looks.

Kitana's hair animates awfully. Other than that, all is well.

I was actually hoping Jade's voice would be deeper, but I don't mind her voice. The other girls' voices fit them well. ^^
