Ah, its funny how some people are saying that the classics are nostalgia. Its true, but well guess i won't comment on it much, its just funny.

They could've done something more creative than that. But well...

As for designs, I think to each time it's own. For classics those designs were perfect. With technical advancement they needed to make more creative and sophisticated designs. I find most of the new MK's design good. Except for obvious failures like Mokap and Dairou.

I always found it's good idea that Reptile could transform into human like form. His human skin was a good idea. And his MKSM appearance was ugly and uninteresting - it didn't look like human disguise at all and was somewhat similar to the MKDA "crocodile". Stiil, I think his best appearance was in MK4 - quite intelligent lizard humanoid - an ideal Reptile in my opinion.

These are cool, I like this series. I hope they do something similar with Kitana, Mileena and Jade. They are the female palette swaps after all.

I think if this goes well with the community, then NRS will release a classic pak for download.

Heh, even though you're being sarcastic, I actually agree with this. Whenever I see Scorpion/Sub-Zero/Reptile look radically different, or Kitana/Mileena/Jade, I can't help but feel like something's not quite right. I can understand for the sequels how these characters perhaps used to look alike but have since grown apart. But when they're retelling the classics (like they did in Shaolin Monks) they all looked different back then too!? I think NRS got it exactly right here by making them all look alike.
