Anyone who wants to argue against the enlargement of Sonya (et al)'s breasts is clearly delusional. They may not have been small in MK3 or MK:DA, but they were
not this size. Not at all. Go look at those images and tell me they're the same size. These are a full cup or two bigger than MK3 Sonya's breasts. Not to mention their improved gravity defiance.
As much as I agree that the women in MK have gained a few cups in breast size, then I still don't see it as that much of an issue. The oversexualization of the female characters is not something I am in favour of, do not get me wrong, but I don't see it as a big problem. As long the outfits and looks fits the characters, then I am glad. Instead of saying Sonya has huge boobs this time around, my complaint lies in the fact she isn't wearing some kind of shirt under that vest of hers and that her combat boots have those high stiletto heels... It just looks odd to her.
However, I don't blame NRS for this, I blame it on the society standards. Fighting game babes look like this in other games with the exception of a very few. It's the aesthetical direction that has become rather common in the video game world. And I do believe that NRS are using this fact to their advantage. I'm not going to like them less because of it though. I am still going to buy and play MK when it releases. And do you know why? Because there are more to MK than boobs.
