Wow tremendous topic sir! And to answer your question I'd have to say Reptile as well because he's always cheated in my opinion and he has potential!

I'd like everybody to have their own story sorta like Mk deception they all linked together and weren't what if stories.

But yea reptile needs a lot of help in that department.

Kung Lao.

He's been one of my favorites since MK2 but he never really got to be very important in the MK storyline. He's always been someone who helps out others. I'd like to see him take the lead somehow.

Well I want Nightwolf & Jade to have bigger stories I mean Nightwolf is linked with Raiden pretty much when it comes to the visions. Jade as we know is Kitana's childhood friend and she was partnered with Smoke for a while but they both need bigger stories because they're awesome!

Scorpion, Sub-Zero, Raiden, Johnny Cage, Sonya Blade, Jax, Kano, Liu Kang, Shang Tsung, Shao Kahn, and Goro

will have bigger stories this time around

Sektor and Kabal

Baraka's story has grown immensely since his first appearance in 1993.

In fact, he's already proven himself a leader, as he lead the Tarkatan forces into battle against Kitana's army in Deception.

Yeah, they lost, but they came close to winning. I sure the hell was rooting for them.

Sheeva, Stryker, and Rain.

It is quite obvious Sheeva needs a huge revamp in the series, expecially in her story. Her story is boring, but she has so much potential, expecially since the MK story is starting at a clean slate.

Stryker is just another character that doesn't seem to fit in the game. I honestly don't know his story...

Rain made a decent comeback in MK:A. I think they could work on his story a little more, and make him into something much bigger than he curently is.

I think each of these characters can be touched on a bit, and all have great potential

Stryker. I want them to expand upon the NY crisis and his Transition into the MK Universe.

I don't want any story to be bigger, but filled in and fleshed out. Some of the small stories actually outweigh the larger ones in terms of quality and originality. Not everyone needs to be a central protagonist or villain.

Smoke-Never really given a huge story in the overall mortal kombat universe but going from a pallet and move swap character too being in my opion one of the most unique characters I think he deserves a more expanded story
Rain-Originally a joke character that grew a large fan base mostly from all the mystery and rumors of him even being in the game. They definetly gave him a larger story in armageddon with the whole half god thing but practically nothing in the first few games I definetly think they have more than enough deph to his character to work with.
Ermac-once again another mystery clouded character in the first games I think he should be given a decent part in the new game just based on the unique aspect of being a collection of trapped souls originally working under shang's control and then being freed to follow their own way. Excellent character devolpment and highly original idea someone I definetly like to see more of a change of pace from the generic lui kang chosen warrior of good type.

Nightwolf: More about him and his tribe since he's connected to Raiden.

Jade: More about her and her friendship with Kitana... especially her rivalry with Tanya. Maybe she and her were old friends and she was betrayed.

Smoke: No longer a cyborg and he might have a bigger role with Sub-Zero's side. He can find out Quan Chi's true plots and tries to help both Kuai and Scorpion stop their grudge fights.

Stryker: He deserves to be a part of the story. Maybe after Shao Kahn's invasion, he turns into a "Batman" vigilante who seeks revenge on the one's responsible for his family's murder.

Rain: He deserves to be a part of the game! I don't want him as a DLC. He can control water and the weather.

Reptile: The saurian warrior deserves to go independent. I hope Khameleon appears as a DLC. Maybe she can appear in the next game. And both characters could find a new home as a new Zaterra.

Kabal: Kabal stays as a good guy and maybe form a group of inner-city kids that were abandoned and he trains them to become warriors to destroy the Black Dragon. If Mavado ever exists and kills Kabal and steals his hookswords.... maybe Stryker can save Kabal and both become vigilantes to destroy the injustice.

id love to see some flash backs of the characters origins, like for scorpion we see a flash back of the battle he had with old subby in the shaolin temple when they wanted that map of elements i want to see in their new CG the part were old subby killed scorpion , then how he got resurrected back.

laos for ermac id love to see the ritual or whatever shang did to merge all these warriors souls into ermac, so kewl to see the birth of ermac >:D

since the WB is totally giving them good resources based on the amazing CG scenes they showed us this would be good use of story telling and image work to really bring the characters storys to life hell id love if they used this CG work to make an MK movie. but then again this games story mode might as well be the movie C:
