I don't mean to sound harsh but I really don't think this needs its own thread.

I'm sure that if you adjust the contrast in the game, you'll be able to see some of the background when the screen goes black, as it has been in the last few games.

It does look weird when you can see the whole damn scene. I prefer the dimming of the arena lights for the cold embrace of death to an opponent.

I actually agree with this thread. I'd rather see the background just get dark like in the old school games. I was never a big fan of the background disappearing and only the floor showing. Looks a little strange... at least to me.

I totally agree. The purpose is to make you focus on the characters perform not to look at the floor lol.
