I agree that the fatality mucical stab adds a good punch to the finishers. I think my favorite is the MK1 version: it's nice, simple and dark. It's more of a drawn out two-note bass hit than a little tune. I'm sure you guys know what I mean

I agree with ZombiePaul in that MK1 has the best intro music to a fatal - it's quick, to the point, and sets the mood. I'm also a fan as to how while the screen darkens, it doesn't go entirely black, like it does in the 3D MK games.

I like the MKD fatality music a lot actually. Dark and ambient.

That is just placeholder music. The final version will not have that music.

I like MK II's and MK 4's the best! One of the things I wish they would do in MK (2011) is bring back the ominous tone that played after Shao Kahn announced "FATALITY" in MK II (as the blood drips to the ground). It just such a dark feeling note, I love it!

OK, before it was like `` da da ding`` that was sick and really low notes and it was fast like banging on metal. Now its like ( well mkvs dc) ``ba-ba baaawwn`` and sounds comicy and not sick like before and its slower.

When it has to do with music, MK2 is the BEST.

I might be alone on this one but MK4 had my favorite screams, I don't know there's something about them. When you here them you know right away that's MK4.

The one from MK4 was like "Dun Dun DUN" and that was an awesome fatality. Previous games had a quick note followed by a qucik fatality.

I think the new mk game has the similar sound to mk vs dc but i want something dark and mysterious :P

Looking back, MK4 also had dark fatality sound. 'Dun Dun Dunn'. It sounds really good.

"comicy" yeah, thats the way i felt about it too. they need to return to their roots and make it darker. but as one of the other guys said, its just placeholder music and theyll probably change it in the final release
