I really liked the sound made after the announcer said fatality( in MK2 I think). It seemed really dark and ominous.

I've always liked the MK:DA version, but some may find it a bit "epic" for their tastes. Next in line is the MK:D tune. Like many said before, it had a suitably "dark" vibe emanating when it occured, which was in line of the grisly death that was to be received to the opponent.

There's no need to worry since it's placeholder music. They have used the music from the previous game in betas before.

just thought of this but i actually like the music in Armageddon just as you enter the tournament ladder. that sounds like it would fit great for the fatality sequence.
