Ugh. You're missing the point completely. I don't give a fuck if it "makes sense." I'm not have a crisis that Sub-Zero can shoot ice from his hands. I would be having a crisis if Scorpion did. If Quan Chi kicked you through a portal, then you came out on the other side of the screen, that would be fine. But he doesn't do that. For some reason, Rain does. You keep bringing up Smoke. I don't care that Smoke teleports you. He uses HIS powers to do that. If he threw a fireball, then you teleported, THAT would be a problem. As for Stryker turning people into babies, everyone does that. Even Rain. Those are babalities, which are intentionally silly and nonsensical. Using something that is meant to be humor to defend something that is meant to be taken seriously is not good logic.

Well, that would be how Scorpion and Sub-Zero looks like. Noob is somewhat like it, Reptile's alternate outfit is also somewhat like it, Ermac's look has moved away from the look.

Rain's look is also somewhat like it. It's the hood, the mask, the V vest and the loincloth which makes the look. Rain seems to have those things, but it wasn't as bad looking as I feared.

My wish is that those characters will sooner or later develop a completely unique look from one another and still look cool. Ermac's alternate outfit fits him perfectly, and he doesn't look like a palette swap in it. That's the greatest example of what I hope for the other characters as well.

If that were to happen, Rain would be my main hahaha.

What the hell did they do to Kenshi's hair? I liked it in the concept art, but it looks bad in the render.

Because his powers are based on smoke. Therefore,vanishing, phasing, dissolving and reconstituting physical objects are at least somewhat within the realm of his powers.

For the record,I do think that Smoke's teleporting smoke bomb is pretty silly,but at least you can somewhat rationalize how it works.

SMOKE can turn into smoke- he doesn't have the ability to turn *others* to smoke, and yet, that's exactly what his projectile is doing.

Seriously, that red ass/codpiece was so strange and unnecessary. That's one of the things that bugged me about his Deception/Armageddon classic costume, which I love.
I don't know why, in Deception, they just decided to put another red accent on his butt...

A little disappointed with his hair, though. It looks....odd.
I would have even preferred the hipster hair. Maybe it won't look that way in the game, though..

Actually, that's exactly what I'm saying. It is just absurd enough that it exceeds all of the other things you have to take for granted in MK. I know MK characters can survive gunshots, and bleed more than their weight in blood, and have supernatural powers. That doesn't mean I believe Rain can kick you around the world exactly hard enough for you to land at his feet on the other side. If they do ANY of the things we have discussed to make the kick relevant to Rain, then it becomes less absurd. How is this not getting through your skull? I feel like I'm being pretty reasonable here. Ahnka knows I'm right, which his why he stopped responding.
