I think kenshi looks awesome the hair could be fixed a little but over all his best look yet. Rain looks good too but kinda bland I'm geting tired of the covering up the mouth thing.

I just want to say that both the Klassic Noob Saibot and Smoke are amazing... i finally get to play the original Noob Saibot.

Rain and Kenshi look awsome.. okay im lying somewhat... artisticly Kenshi looks cool... but i wish they gave him for of an asian style outfit instead of this Jedi Knights gear... i mean really... it was bad enough when he wore the metal gear threads in MKDA and MKA. Well i can pray for a alt costume for him. But overall looking forward to what Kenshi can do and how different he will plays from Ermac.

Truth be told I just want to see Rains Moves.I always thought he was lame still do by the way but I have kept an opened mind on the characters that I hated back in the day and I have been happy with pretty much everyone.Except Sheeva she still sucks to me.Kenshi looks great.

Rain looks great, but, not as amazing as I hoped or expected.

His outfit is kind of predictable and not that special (except for the veil). Hopefully his alt (he better have one) will resemble more his MKA primary with the awesome hair.

Kenshi looks perfect. Pure perfection.

Classic costumes for Smoke and Noob look cool, but, I am extremely annoyed that the fucking ninjas are still getting more and more (repetitive) extra content. Meanwhile, there are tons of other possibilities for retro costumes that would be more fun and cool to see.

i think that NRS made this rain just to see/read the reactions of us fans about rain. im sure its not how rain would end up, @least if the reactions are good he will have similarity to this picture of rain.

meh..not too excited for rain..never liked rain....mainly just gonna use him as a practice-dummy-punching-bag

Indeed- Sheeva, Sindel, and Stryker's primary outfits are 90% the same as their MK3 look.

In Stryker's case, it would require a different body type, not different clothes

I'd like MK3 Sonya, MK1 Kano, Cage, and Kang, MK2 Kitana, Mileena, Jade, and Skarlet, and UMK3 male ninja set.

That wasn't directed at you, but at the other crybabies.

I mean, do you have any basis for saying this? Is there a precedent for NRS revealing a character to see how we feel about it, then changing their appearance if we don't like it? I saw people bitching about Reptile for about a year and nothing changed. I'm pretty sure the fact that they showed us Rain's render at all probably means that he's done now. Especially since he's coming out next month.

Most of the feed back have been positive. Most of his diehard fans here love the look and that's really what matters, since we were the ones fighting our butts off for his inclusion. So NRS can sleep easily, they made us happy.

The other "mehs" and "blahs" are from people that didn't even care for the character in the first place and probably never will. So they can "meh" till the cows come home. *waves hand dismissively*

True dat. Only one thing has been bugging me, and it's something I just noticed not too long ago. His cowl look's a loooot like Smoke and Sub-Zero's. He looks a wee bit too much like a Lin Kuei, buut I'm not going to say that for certain until I see it up close. It looks like there might be some sort of crown-detail there at the brow. EDIT: Maybe Rain killed Hydro and took his clothes?! And boom goes the dynamite.

He does at least have a stylish, triangular veil covering his face.

I am am rather surprised at how much he looks "ninja" and how little he looks "prince,"
but I'm guessing they (rightfully) think a ninja will sell better than a prince.

it would be a travesty otherwise.

Smoke and Sub-Zero don't even have a hood like Rain's though. Maybe Noob has something similar, albeit looser, but those three definitely do not share cowls.

However, this reminds me, Rain's ninja mask should be made of the same material as the mask of Kitana, Mileena's and Jade.
