Right, I know what you're saying. I just mean IF it were a cyborg at all, Smoke to me would make the most sense. I'm looking at it objectively and in my opinion its the safe choice. They can do whatever they want in reality and I'm sure it will work, but I know throwing in Cyber-Smoke will have a group of people jumping up and down in joy. Some in anger too, but that's how it goes.

As trollish as he may be, I can't deny that Voldemort seems a *hell* of a lot more likely to me than Havik or Reiko.

And a new cyborg is *highly* unlikely.

Voldemort is about as likely as Spongebob. Harry Potters audience and Mortal Kombat audience..not exactly the same. And if it is a cyber, who else really would it be besides Smoke? I am still personally rooting for Khameleon who would have some bonkers ass gameplay, dont care watta hata say lol. And my top pick is Havik, even tho he been deniend, but theres still hope in my mind lol

I don't believe *any* pre-existing MK character would get such a lavish rollout.

I admit it's possible they might (re)introduce Khameleon with a completely revamped story and moveset,
or that they might finally bring Hornbuckle into the light,
but my gut is still saying "guest character".

The ??? character is whoever you want it to be...

1. There's no way it's Voldemort. Rowling and Scholastic would never let their character, even an evil one, be placed in a game as graphically violent as MK. I know they don't want to be associated with that. But even assuming they did, the entire world would be set on FIRE if there were a Harry Potter crossover into MK. It would be on f***ing CNN. No way they're going to reveal him at a Gamestop that hardly anyone is going to be at.

2. Havik wasn't deconfirmed anywhere. Neither were a lot of characters that people are saying were. Boon posting a two word quip in his twitter or suggesting that a character only has 6 fans doesn't mean that character is deconfirmed. The only things I accept as positive deconfirmation were when he said "signs point to no" for a couple, like Fujin. Otherwise, anyone else has a fair chance.

3. It's not cyber smoke. The most they would do with that would be to make him an alternate costume.

4. That picture everyone is calling "Hydro" is very obviously just Cyrax. Just because he isn't canary yellow doesn't mean it's not him.

5. I don't trust the press release calling the 4th character a he as being solid confirmation that it's male. Except in the opinion of some feminazis, it's perfectly acceptable form to refer to a character of unknown gender as "he." The simple fact is that writing out "he/she" and "his/her" every time you're referring to him is a pain in the ass. So I believe there's still a chance it's a female.

6. The fact that it's not a the main venue and is at an out of the way gamestop gives me hope that it's not actually a guest character.

7. The character must be someone more popular/more awesome than Rain. Otherwise, why would they put on such a spectacle for his release? (Though not enough to suggest that he's a guest character).

Conclusion: Putting all these facts together, we can only conclude one thing. The mystery DLC character is in fact, Lady in Purple.

It's too much hype for someone that the WORLD will not know about, it needs to be something THE MAINSTREAM will care about for this event.

No left out MK charter would make people exited in the MAINSTREAM, people have not bough the game. They are trying to sell more games with a Publicity event this big.

My vote is Alex Mercer from Prototype. DC published his comic, WB owns DC, and Prototype 2 is coming out, makes alot of sense from a business standpoint AND something I think Boon would go for because Alex Mercer is a walking fatality. I would enjoy playing as him

Sorry to say but that is Hydro. This is a picture of Cyrax and Sektor. You can clearly sea that Cyrax is yellow.

I Think that Hydro is the replacement of Sub-Zero in the next MK game. Hydro is Lin-Kui so it's likley that he got the cyborg transformation aswell.

Jesus, I really hope its not Cyber Smoke. I mean I didn't even like Smoke until this game.

I would seriously have anyone over Cyber Smoke, Even Tremor. Even Dairou. Even Mokap.

The MKL screen is probably just Smoke (Purple) under a different light, making him look blue.

I don't see any hype, just a single still of what could be a generic cyborg.
