Was I understanding it wrong, or is the actual character once he/shes released at ComicCon going to be playable right away?

Who said anything about rushing? They can take their sweet time making the next game. I have no doubts that there's already plans in place for NRS' next title. I'm already a bit bored with MK9 and there's no ninja or guest character that can change that, I think. Just more of the same at this point.

I am pretty sure the 4th character is going to be playable AT comic-con, not available for download.

Confirmed to be playable at the Gamestop event down the road from Comic-Con.

I think that the unknown character has something to do with MK Legacy why else would you do a reveal of a character at the same time. They could just revealed it at any point they want to if it was just a random character from the MK universe. And because a lot off press and fans are at the event, I think they would only do this to a character if it was some big news.

And because there is a twist in this episode of Legacy and the reveal of Hydro in the series couple of days ago, and that Ed Boon revealed a picture of him at his twitter page. I think the new character is Hydro or has something to do with MK legacy.

The character will be playable at Comic-Con, or a station nearby. I don't believe the character will be available for download this weekend. Who knows though, I'm sure we will find out at the panel.

Tanya probably. I think she goes with the other Edenians and Rain so well. Second would be Khamel, and then Sareena.

It might still be a girl so don't rule them out just yet. wait until 00:00:00:01 before its revealed.

II feel like Sareena could be a big player in MK10.
I don't like saying things like "save her for MK10"
because she's just as valid now,
but I feel like she will be a major factor in MK10 from the get-go,
so I won't be broken-hearted if she waits until then.

Tanya (and Rain) will likely also be present, but it makes more sense to me for them to show up now. not like I'd complain about Sareena or a properly done Khameleon (sans blowjob fatality, pls).

They are doing it at Comic-Con because it will receive a lot more attention and hype from the mainstream media. THey could have released the last episode at any time too, but it makes more sense to do it at a convention.

I doubt there is any relation. WHy release a trailer on twitter and youtube when you can show of your character to a room full of reporters on a big screen.
