Oh, don't misunderstand me... I love Cyrax's new look! He looks awesome and it is definately an improvement, however, appearance wise I find him inferiour to Sektor and this new Cyborg Subbie. He still looks cool, just not as cool as those two.

I will say this........love the guy to death, we've been down a while.....BUT his costume is a little less detailed than Sektor's and from what I can tell on CSB. Overall though he has a great costume, it makes him look more sleek and agile.

Is it just me or does Kabal look weird? I didn't even think that was Kabal when I first saw it, but when I looked around and didn't see him anywhere else I figured it had to be him.
Quan Chi looks better tatted up so I'm not gonna bitch about it.
CYZero looks damn good. Kinda like Predator in way. And I know his gameplay will be awesome. There is so much more you can do with Ice than you could with smoke. The Ice Machine will kick ass.

Frankly, that was never possible to begin with. If the Lin Kuei could reanimate dead bodies, they would have done it. Automating live specimen ain't easy. They squirm and stuff.

I really doubt highly if they'll even bother addressing it. It won't be a retcon, so much as a... logistical error.

Cyber Sub looks badass. Can't wait to see what they do with his fatalities.

Woah indeed.
As much as I feel sorry for this happening to NRS, it still got me excited.

Most likely the DLC slot is an "extra character" slot that you use to pick Cyber Sub-Zero, Kratos, DLC characters and the bosses.

I learned that already, but thanks anyway.
Awesome shot thanks!
I think the reason Cyber Subby is repeated twice is because that bottom row seems to be for unlock-able characters. In this screenshot it hasn't got everyone unlocked so its repeating.
Theres my take anyway, can't wait for the game!

You forget that Mortal Kombat defies reality.. Come on! You heard Ed Speak about embrance mythism magic and mad science... come on... that special force having a machine that can restore a soul back into a body? Also want to point out that Cyborg Sub-Zero is the THIRD in the series robots.. so around this time. They could thraw out the frozen dead body of Bi Han to do some test

I don't mind the series defying conventions of reality, but I do mind it contradicting itself. If the Lin Kuei couldn't automate corpses before, then they shouldn't be able to do it now.
I realize this game is full of retcons, but 12 wrongs don't make a right.

You'll have to pardon me for having an aversion to reading through long-ass threads when news drops. I don't think I can take 10+ pages of bitching and/or questioning whether or not it's fake.

Well I never said "Most advanced" but "most improved" compared to his other classic looks. But then again, that's the case with just about every character here.
Sektor give off a really effective but still character-retaining prototype look. He really looks like he was the first model, but that in no way is a bad thing by the looks of it.
Cyrax looks like a PS3 slim compared to the PS3 that is Sektor, Same technology, utilized differently for a more compact look (perhaps sacrificing a BIT of strength to keep character balance) with different offensive capabilities.
Really looking forward to all Lin Kuei canon this time around. Losing my mind in anticipation for story mode.

They just finished the automations of Sektor and Cyrax.. So it gave them time to learn how to revive the dead with the third new prototype. And besides... when Smoke was a Cyborg he wasn't alive when he unactive in Kahns Dungeon... im assuming that that nano replace alot of his deceased or damage organs when reactivated.
So yea im convinced that this Cyborg could be Bi Han until the game comes out.. maybe this was another shocker to get us Sub-Zero fans all wind up before the game comes out to make us eat our owns words. And if im right. i own Ed Boon and Netherealm studios a huge apology
Wow... Gone for like an hour and this pops up with 11 pages.
All I have to say is that Quan Chi's avatar makes him look like a doll.
That, and Cyborg Sub-Zero looks badass, I am definitely going to play as this just to see what he's like. Cool.
Although I think it would be even cooler if the rows were shown horizontally like it did in Deception than vertically. I don't know, it gives off like a larger group of characters? I don't know. I like it anyways.
