I'm from South Carolina and have never had any interest in Nascar. I like watching racing, but "real" racing. Where they turn more than one direction. Racing on tracks like Laguna Seca, Tsukuba Circuit, and Nurburgring Nordschleife

But again... LOL NASCAR. I will never understand how watching cars take left turns for 4 hours is entertaining but then at the same time I watch Wrestling and being shit all over that as well so to each is own

I'm not a big fan, but I did take some time to learn about the sport (I like to learn about things I don't understand). I can't say that most NASCAR fans are watching it for this, but I discovered that not only is there a ton of technical know-how behind the sport, but there's also a surprisingly large amount of tactical that goes into participating in a NASCAR race.

Despite it's fandom and the fact that it consists almost entirely of left turns, it's really a thinking wo/man's game. At least in regards to the participants.

I hate NASCAR, but some of the comments here are way over the top. If I were in charge of advertising for the latest game, NASCAR is most definitely one avenue I'd pursue, because demographically it's a perfect fit.

And to the person who went on a rant about NASCAR fans and George W. Bush, there is little to say except, "Wow." Seriously, buddy, not everything is about politics.

They should advertise on WWE Raw and Smackdown next.
