It pollutes the air. The noise pollutes my ears. And it entertains rednecks. And, as tolerant and open-minded I try to be of other cultures, I have a hard time doing so when that culture is built around purposefully ignorance, intolerance masquerading as "traditionalism," rewarding stupidity, and voting for George W. Bush.

Secondly, you're wrong. Mortal Kombat has to pay for the advertising space on the car. It's how advertising and marketing works. MK pays for the privilege to put their logo on the car, in hopes that people who are fans of NASCAR will see the logo and start purchasing Mortal Kombat products. How would NASCAR putting the MK logo on a car benefit them?

You pretty much said what I was implying. MK pays for the advertising for their own benefit, they're not looking to support NASCAR, and that was your original issue. NASCAR supports MK/WB's marketing (not the other way around), and there's no shame in that.
