A few years ago you caused quite the controversy for posing on PlayBoy Magazine (you go girl!). Shao Kahn was heart broken when he saw that picture, but, we (your true fans) approved. You truly made your point quite clear regarding *walking around half-naked*. You took it to the next level.

Your look is sexy, deadly, provocative, it fits you well and your new hair cut is fabulous (quite the modern look, no?). Kahn isn't pleased at all, but, that's just his fatherly side clouding his vision.
However, as impressive as you've been since E3...there is absolutely no question that your MKD primary outfit should had been the MAIN inspiration for your new style in MK9 That incredible (and beautiful) MKD design is by far one of the most favorite costumes of all time in MK history!
* The Veil
* The Long Big Sleeves
* The Belt in the mid section
* The arachnid dress on your back.
* The overall Arabic/Persian theme
Where in the Outworld Lands did all of these things go to? It was not for nothing that you won the Best Costume Award of 2004!
Who was your stylist because we seriously need to have a word with him or her, and fast...(while you are at it, please, give us the number of Kitana's hair dresser and wardrobe designer so we can go beat some sense into his brain).
Anyway, the point we are trying to make is that as good as you look, the overall Arabic/Persian theme you started back in Deception should had been the main inspiration for this game.
Some members from the MKO community might disagree with this message, but, don't be fooled, that's just because they are too afraid to contradict you. They know you looked better and more unique in Deception.
You should had AT LEAST kept the veil, you silly woman. You were very very distinctive thanks to that.
Well, there is still 5 more months left before all is over, so, hopefully you will surprise us with an amazing alternate that resembles that costume from Deception. Girl you better rock it or you are gonna get it bad! Only then will we be able to forgive your poor outift-choice for this game.

While I do agree that this new look doesn't beat her Deception primary (and I don't think any other character design has or will beat that outfit) I do really love her MK9 look and I couldn't be happier with it. It says.... 'I'm a whore.'

I just played MKD for the first time in MONTHS yesterday and it felt good...but I digress...that veil I realized revealed her teeth. You can clearly see through it. If she's supposed to be a clone of Kitana and is hiding her teeth, why would she have a sheer veil? And I like how your post addresses her. Clever indeed! "MMM...TASTY"

I think its much better than her MK2, MKU, MKG, and MKD (alt), but, definitely not better than her primary in MKD.

"Terrible" is too strong of a word. I think she looks great, just, not as amazing as she did in her MKD primary.

Hey queve, awesome thread man. I too think that Mileena's MKD outfit is the best costume for her. In fact it's one of the best I've seen period.
I also love her new MK9 outfit as well, but since that one is her primary, we can only hope that her MKD primary becomes her MK9 alt.

I like her costume. As much as I liked her flowing Arabic robes look in MK:D, all that flowing cloth would actually get in the way of a fight.
Not that a skin-tight, thong-clad bodysuit is any more practical, mind you, but it certainly serves its job to augment Mileena's impressive physique and really hammer home her "femme fatale" motif.
She looks good enough I almost don't even mind the teeth this go around.

The "idealistic manner" inspiration for this Mileena was already a whole part of the lovely MKD Mileena. So, whats your point?
The difference between the "now" and "then" is that they are bringing Mileena's portrayal to bigger levels thanks the way they are developing this new game. They are paying attention to all the characters personalities and individualities more than ever and doing things they didn't do before (intros, talking during fights, etc). This isn't exclusive to Mileena so this doesn't mean there's been any kind of "update" for her costume at all.
Her visual elements have not been updated because she is more vocal about her sexuality. This is no where near what anyone would call a "visual update" when its obviously less than the primary outfit in MKD and a very very similar design of her alt in MKD.
I repeat, I like the costume as well, but, just a few pairs of straps to design this thin bikini cannot be considered an upgrade when compared to the detailed outfit she sported in MKD. That doesn't make any sense.
You call this an update and yet her MKD alternate is very similar.

Sorry, but, this costume is pretty much her MKD alternate with a few new tweaks here and there.
I never once mentioned anything about "recycling" or asked to do a lame copy/paste for Mileena. As you read through the forum threads you'll actually be pleased to discover how much I'm against this kind of stuff.
No one is "expecting" or wanting anything to be recycled. There's a reason why I constantly said "take main inspiration from her MKD design".

I think its pretty clear that this phrase was an obvious joke that was not supposed to be taken seriously...at all. I'm telling a fictional character that whoever disagrees is frightened of her..........yeah, just chillax. Why would I care about what you are afraid of anyway?

PS: Mileena is one of my top 5 favorite characters. In case you think I'm a hater.
