Ya i asked this a few days ago....I didn't see her for several matches then i FINALLY saw her again...SHE IS STILL THERE...lol

I think if she appeared in this game she'll of course be yet another one of Kahn's minions, but maybe they can add some depth to her by showing some type of relationship between her and her fellow edenians.

I know I might be going out on a limb here...but I really would like it if we learned that she has some relation to Jade. Like they both share a family history or maybe both of their families had an on going rivalry. And maybe Tanya was also close with Kitana, but unlike Jade, she doesn't have Kitana's best interest at heart.

Meh, just throwing ideas at the wall. Anything is better than "the yellow chick".

I say make Tanya a member of the resistance that was capture and shackled in the Coliseum. And on Kahn's behalf, QC releases her because of his manipulating ways. And then in MKX it's revealed she betrayed them..

I would like to see this "resistance" thing embellished on a little bit. Obviously Edenian rebels after Khan took over, very Star Wars, I love it.

I cant imagine how Tanya could be made relevant to the MK1-3 era, Im not opposed to it, I enjoy Tanya, Im open to the possibility of her to return for this game. Most of her story is about her being an Edenian traitor, and Edenia isnt really freed until after MK3, so unless they come up with something for her while Edenia is still merged, I see little importance for her during this time period.

It would be cool to see Tanya's history with Jade and Kitana go back further than MK4 also.

Yeah, the Jade/Tanya rivalry is something that needs to be built on. Deception seemed to hint they had been at each others throats for years.

Jade's just jealous she cannot match the beauty, flair, or status of Tanya.

Tanya vs Mileena would be much more interesting than Tanya vs Jade (evil vs good is so overused). They should come up with some story where Tanya tries to manipulate Mileena for whatever cause. Mileena would eventually find out and then the firework would start.


BUT, all of that only after we get Fujin. Raiden messed up too much and we need Fujin to vacuum all the mess Raiden left behind.

I pretty much agree with almost everything Jaded-Raven had to say about Tanya.

MKD really helped to spice up her popularity and save her as a "unique and original" female. Funny thing is, she was already original back in MK4 with her own set of specials, new look, and personality.

The one thing that reminded us that she took Kitana's spot was that Kiss of Doom fatality, but, aside from that, everything else was new and fresh.

MKD made sure that no one else would dare to question her uniqueness. Her overall redesign was, like Mileena's, absolutely fantastic, surprising, and perfect.

She still has one of the best "female ninja" costumes and hairstyles.

I will say, however, that she needs some improvement to make her overall character stand out even more:

1) Better and more unique Fatalities.

Her Neck Breaker is definitely a fan favorite and a must. That Fatality is pure awesomeness. It's unique, different, and her trademark (though I still think that neck breaking with legs is more of a Sonya thing). A brilliant Fatality that deserves to return.

As awesome as her kiss is, she needs to loose that. Leave that kind of kiss of doom for Kitana. Separate Tanya from the rest.

Her MKD Fatalities were gory but really not that special.

2) More depth and a more shinning role story wise:

MKD was a good step in the right direction. However, I don't want to see Tanya stuck (again) as just the "evil Traitor" with a predictable rivalry (Jade). Let us see more of her.

3) Unpredictable Personality:

We already have a clue of what she is (a flirtatious manipulative traitor who plays around with whoever gives her a more convenient future), but, that doesn't mean she can be more than that.

I love Tanya and I most definitely expect her to return, however, I don't want her as DLC for this game. I really don't.

I feel that Tanya deserves her own place and spot in the main roster of the coming game along side the MKDA and MKD newcomers that deserve their second chance in the spotlight.

I would be inclined to agree, but if they're serious about making Shinnok DLC then why not Tanya? If anything Shinnok should be saved for MK10, or they BOTH should.

I just think it's unfair for Shinnok and Fujin to be DLC but not Tanya when she could easily be squeezed in.

She could be DLC for this game and still return for the next. No idea why people keep over looking that.

Well, you can also look at it this way: After MK4 Tanya appeared as a playable character in MKD and MKA, while Shinnok and Fujin only appeared as playable in MKA. So she's ahead of them already, so it'd be "unfair" if they didn't make it but she did.

Absolute queens!!! Sailor Mars is my fave though, I'd buy 24 copies if she were the 4th DLC character. Shout outs to Sailor Pluto, Mercury and Saturn, other faves of mine! Hell, all of them were amazing!

It depends which version you watched, the original Japanese or one of the dubbed versions. If you've never watched the original Japanese version I wholeheartedly suggest you do as it is far more controversial and explicit than English dubbed version.

For example, in the original Japanese version the 4 sailor warriors (Mercury, Mars, Jupiter and Venus) actually died at the end of Season One on the North Pole and their deaths were shown on screen. In the dubbed version, their dying moments were cut out and the story was that they were kidnapped, not killed. LAME! Btw, the death of Mars is the most epic scene for me in the entire series.

My most emotional moment was, surprisingly, the death of Kakyuu in Sailor Stars. They played that scene just right for maximum tear-jerking. The other deaths at the end of Stars were also very saddening... I thought my precious Hotaru was invincible :'-(
Since we're already *totally* off-topic- how is Croatia? My fiancee and I are getting married in Venice, and the main contender for Honeymoon is Slovenia/Croatia/Bosnia/Montenegro (ironic as her last name is Montenegro, and the country looks *beautiful*, as does Croatia.)
