Tanya is defo my number 1 choice for DLC but I don't think she is the 4th DLC character.
I doubt NRS think she is special enough to be a hyped mystery character.

So it has to be a guest character or a former rumored one.

Hopefully it's Tremor so people can stfu about him.

Well, okay, I shall try and be open-minded here. JAX007 made a very cool fanart with Tremor in it which I actually find an acceptable design for him.

However, I do NOT want him to be like he is in Special Forces. That appearance is why I loathe him oh so much and wished never to appear in any fighting game. But alright, if NRS does a magnificent job (any less isn't enough) with him, then I might accept him.

Hornbuckle... First of all, change the name. I hate the name. It is incredibly ridiculous. Second of all, he shouldn't be or look anything like Liu Kang. Make him one of the priests who hunts for Blaze and guards the Dragon King egg, like it suggests in Blaze's bio (I think it was in his bio, anyways).

As Hornbuckle is now, he isn't even close to be a good character. At all. He's not even a character yet. He's a palette swapped Liu Kang. And I do NOT want to see yet another palette swap. I hate palette swaps. Every character should be his or her own design. Anything else is unacceptable.

I especially like how he's wearing those typical "thug" gloves- that's a nice touch.

I never played Special Forces, and have literally *no* experience with Tremor-
I never even knew he existed until whoever it was made that palette-swap of *all* the ninja males from the Reptile Klassic Render, and I was confused about who that "burned Scorpion" character was

However, a character with "earth" powers does have a lot of potential-
they could def. do something cool with him.

I agree that Hornbuckle is a joke and I don't actually want him in-
I just mentioned him as another frequently requested/rumored character.
Some Liu Kang clone would indeed suck.
Hopefully he would be more like what you describe.
However, I'm betting if it *were* him,
the outfit would be much the same as what we see in MKII

and it's honestly much better that way.

Long story, but in a nutshell-
When the demo was hacked and virtually *everything* about the game was discovered,
I added Sheeva and Kintaro to the list of characters in the game,
and another user reverted those edits and left an *incredibly* nasty message on my "talk" page, basically calling me a liar and saying I should be banned.
It didn't take long for everyone to realize the hack was legit and these two *were* in the game.

A while after that, I edited his nasty message, which was on *my* fucking talk page, mind you, to say things that made him look quite stupid.
I thought it was quite funny, and since it was on my home page, it was very unlikely to be seen by anyone but myself and whatever random person just stumbled upon it.

But the *real* admin found out, and fucking temp banned me over THAT-
over changes I made to a nasty, nasty message on MY OWN FUCKING PAGE.

After spending so much time and effort trying to improve the Wiki,
I felt *incredibly* betrayed by this,
and I haven't edited it since then, despite getting my ban undone.
That site can go to shit for all I care-
I don't respect people who don't respect me.
End of story.

Tanya... In all honesty, she is a rather generic character. She's the Smoke to Kitana's Scorpion. But Smoke turned out to become a rather interesting and unique character in this game, so I can't see why Tanya couldn't be.

I just hope Tanya gets her puss puss fatality back.
