What do you think Smoke will look like? Description desired.

I hope his look will be a bit of MK2 and SMSM. The MKSM costume was pretty cool, but I wasn't a big fan of the weird gray skin he has in that game. He looked a little too much like Noob that way imo.

In my opinion the black and gray (or silver) costume from MKSM could work, with a caucasian skintone. Maybe add a few new cool things to his costume that makes it a little more different from Subzero.. Maybe some kind of weapon?

I'm probably in the minority,but i kind of liked the cyber demon smoke skin. I would kind of like the ninja look(modified of course),with any spots with skin showing using a smoke like skin.

Smoke is Thursday's unveil.. i have a feeling.. if not oh well

Welp I want Smokey to look similar to his Trilogy look with some Deception flavor. Of course I want the smoke circling around him like in Trilogy. Maybe a unique mask incorporating his smoke element.

I love his look in SM as well. Maybe it's a nerdy nostalgia thing.

Now we have gotten Kabal and we have seen a glimpse of Sheeva too. Smoke has become the final fighter of the basic cast we have not seen yet. What do you expect from him? I hope his costume should show us his association to the Lin Kuei and really tell that he is a smoke specialist assassin. The smoke cloud would be very welcome as well.

If you look closely in Raiden's Combo video you'll get a peek of him [In the scene with Raiden and Liu Kang in the background there is a Ninja in a grey MK1-ish looking attire.

Actually, there are TWO ninja with grey attire, which begs the question who those two are.

NetherRealm Studios is really teasing us with the Smoke lookalikes when we had this Zombie Cyrax and now we have a classic grey ninja in there.
This is another hazy situation whether it is Smoke or not. I think there is a rather clear difference in hue between the two ninjas, who have been claimed as Noob and Smoke, but at this point you cannot state for sure that these are actually real fighters and not just anonymous grunts.
We all know that Noob and Smoke debuted in Mortal Kombat II but as this is another telling of the plot, it could very well be that they hid in the background as sentinels to Sub-Zero - something what Kung Lao did in Shaolin Monks. But that actually wonders me; Bi-Han was supposed to be the Elder Sub-Zero during the first tournament and the Noob Saibot incarnation did not exist by then to my knowledge. Another thing is that the proclaimed Smoke doesn't have a smoke cloud around him even though we can't say for sure whether he will have it or not.

Noob Saibot and Smoke could actually be the characters in the background if NRS made some drastic changes to the plot. This would also allow them to obtain the classic ninja costumes story-wise. I'm sure that anyone who has read the spoilers should know of Bi-Han's situation thus confirm whether it's him or not. Likely not, these are likely just grunts.

I provided you with two captures of the video. Who do you think is the character in front of the dark ninja? It'd be quite odd that Lin Kuei grunts would now be gray instead of blue like they were in past games.

Wikipedia's page for enenra has some decent info, but not as much as I was hoping to see. Apparently, it's a piece of folklore that's been around for quite some time, but I couldn't find anything detailing the entities that much unfortunately other than them being beings of Smoke.

That highly looks like Smoke - the loincloth flap, the badge(?) in the chest, gray mask, gray V-garment but broken - there aren't much options. I'm quite surprised that they decided to design Smoke out from his ninja look, unlike with the other ninjas, experimenting Smoke again. Smoke has always seemed to be under experiment and usually the experiments have gone to the worse direction (more recently the Fog Smoke).

At least Smoke will obtain a unique look like Rain and Ermac did and he looks like he could potentially indeed take control of the Lin Kuei clan now, he has that grandmaster look. I hope that the design of Smoke we saw was still under development. Did you notice the dark gray cloud around his head in the picture? For some reason that seems to have the same shape the dragon sketch has. Coincidence? I hope that Smoke will have another costume with full ninja garments i.e. the ninja hood on top of this though this will probably grow on me too.

Not really a fan of the long white hair in the new photo btw, assuming that is Smoke. The white hair reminds me of Raiden / Fujin / Hotatu too much.

Had an idea for a Smoke fatality just pop into my head.

Smoke walks up to his opponent and places one hand on their shoulder to hold them steady. With his other hand he jabs it into their midsection with a knife-hand strike. While holding them steady, Smoke begins to pump his vapors through the opponent's body, with a bit of mist starting to come out of their mouth. As the opponent begins to choke on the mist, Smoke increases the flow, thereby increasing the pressure until suddenly, the upper half of the opponent's body ruptures violently and splits vertically in half, folding to the sides at the waist, almost like a banana peel just below where Smoke jabbed his hand in.

Hey Zeb, nice work on Smoke. I prefer the mask unaltered, as it resembles Sub-Zero's Deception mask, however, it still looks great even though it's not my preference.

And SmokeNc, nice idea, it's sort of a nice callback to his UMK/MKT fatality and would be unique compared to most fatalities we've seen in the new game.

Yes, they certainly should be fired for a small, grainy image that we can barely see. Certainly. smh.
As for how 'randoo' got into that, I must've quoted from that guy up there (RedFreak) who put it in. Who knows what he was doing? Haha.

(Brought from Smoke finally revealed?) Sub-Zero had a similar alt costume in Mortal Kombat: Deception with long white hair. I wonder did NRS ever realize that the Sub-Zero costume didn't become a fan favorite thus being rather lackluster in design? It is possible that this will become an alt costume like with Sub-Zero in Deception. Whilst the classic ninja costume may not be there at launch, there is still the option of DLC for Smoke, Noob Saibot and the likes.
