There's a reason for most of the Stryker fans being on MKO, it's the only MK forum that actually has a punishment in place for people who freak out and post large hate speeches. If you've ever looked at the Midway boards or the new official MK forums, there's people who just troll Stryker all night and noon, with multiple accounts, they flame people, make racist comments, and they get away with it because the mods doesn't give a shit.

This was the first MK board I've found where Stryker actually had people supporting his inclusion into the game. In fact many other forums had whole threads basically saying "If Stryker makes the roster we're not buying the game.", or set up inaccurate polls to try and prove how unpopular he is. If those threads were set up to try and keep Sub-zero or Scorpion out, there'd be an uproar, but because it's just Stryker it's ok for threads like that to be allowed.

So Stryker fans deserve to be a little happy right now. They get to shout, and make a little noise because we get to deal with people telling us how much Stryker sucks and go so far as to try and keep him out of games in some warped spite. We had to wait over a decade for MKA to happen, we got no story or back ground on him, and his costume was hit and miss, plus MKA sucked ass. As a Stryker fan I just wanted to see him get his due in this game. I bit my lip when he was shut out of MKD, I shook my head when I played MKA, and I would've been highly disappointed if he'd been left out of a game based on MK1-3.

Seeing Stryker in that video was basically punching all the Stryker trolls in the nuts and laughing at them and it felt very, very good. So thank you Minion, I'm still fairly new to the MK community so I wasn't around to keep the Stryker flame going, I'm glad someone was (And to pester Boon on twitter about him making the cut) :p

I've stuck up for my favorite Cyrax on multiple occasions eversince MK:DA was being promoted as well. People don't need to agree with me, but I constantly have to pop up and say "he's not worthless" etc. Only now hhas he really struck out to people as an awesome character(rightfully so, because it's by far his best iteration), but I am in no way just a bandwagoner trying to stick to whatever the "cool" or "popular" thing is at the time. I've got devotion much like yourself and Casselman contain, if I like a character, I stick behind them and root for them through thick and thin. I don't just bounce from whoever is perceived as "cool" this time around. I also don't go around bashing characters just because it's the "cool" thing to do.

Thankfully at MKO, we do have some diehards like us who stick to their guns and have devotion for their favorites over the years, mainly the originals from MK1-3. Temp and Shadaloo with Smoke. Casselman with Sektor. Queve with Sonya. You with Stryker. Me with Cyrax. Vash is a bit of a newcomer(since MK:A-MKvsDC I believe), but he's always waved the Reptile flag since I can recall seeing him. I know I am forgetting some people, but yeah...you get the idea. It's nice to see SOME character devotion around here at least, rather than just fickle people who just want to cling to whoever is "in" at the time.

I need to make a new Cyrax sig...lol.

Stryker being confirmed to be in this game is indeed a slap in the face to all the naysayers and criticizers. And I as a Stryker fan am very pleased with all the other Stryker fans especially Minion for the constant support and loyalty shown to Stryker! We go hard for him and a lot of people don't know or see it! Rant over sorry!

Don't get me wrong, I am enjoying the Stryker love (I've been a supporter of his) and I do like the little we've seen of his new look.

However, to be honest, I find his amazing MKA appearance the best look he could had possibly received. That drastic change was something he needed and both outfits really spiced him up to the top.

I'm positive (and optimistic) that this redesign of his MK3 outfit is much much better than the one he had in MK3, but, his costumes n MKA were, in one word: Perfect. IMO.
