Ok I decided to make this poll to see if i am the only person struggling to keep my sanity. Like i go to the forums every morning and refresh my page every 5 seconds(no joke) looking for ANY new information or gameplay videos on this EPIC game (notice the emphasis on "EPIC") throughout the day. I check every MK website or any website known to man to see if theres new info.
I am soooo anxious to play this game, i have played Mortal Kombat I, II, III, UMK3, Mortal Kombat Gold, MKSM, MK Deception, and MK vs DC to try to hold myself off till March 2011. Its June, im not doing a very good job.
I just cannot wait till this game comes out! Now i want there to be a demo but then again i dont because i want to get the full experience out of it when it does come out... idk.
ANYWAYS!
Anyone who is loosing there mind like me, please reply:)
and share with us your insanity as well as i did

*sigh* I have to admit, I have been hooked on MKO since the trailer released. I haven't been refreshing pages, but I have been returning far more frequently then I used to.

I've also been playing a lot of classic MK and reading a lot of the stories (not that it'll matter anymore) so yeah. I'm pretty excited as well.

This is ALWAYS the case for most of us who have been here since before MK:DA. It's just how it works each year an MK game comes out. With MK:A and MKvsDC it wasn't like that so much, because they either weren't as exciting, or I just wasn't into it as much cuz I had other things to attend to. But this game definitely has me almost as excited and addicted as MK:DA and MK:D did. Being 20 instead of 12-14 changes things this time around, obviously the older you get the more stuff in life you have to deal with and responsibility you take on, but this def. makes me feel close to the same way it was back then. I can't wait for this game.

The trailer had me log on for the first time since "MK8" was announced to be MK vs. DC, and the videos and information we've seen has got me very excited. I'm checking every day, perhaps even bi-hourly, but not every 5 minutes grin

Yeah, I'm starting to get to the point where I'm now expecting news all the time. Not good considering that I doubt we'll get anything else resembling info before that mysterious EGM summer issue hits news stands (whenever the heck that'll be).

It's going to be a long 9 months, but at least we have a lot of info to go on thus far. I mean, between the fatalities, the interviews, the trailer and all of the other footage, I think we've seen a ton thus far. I'm STILL trying to take it all in!

I just hope that when that EGM comes out, we might get to see a few new characters, arenas, and maybe learn a little more about the game.

ARG... MARCH 2011 can't come soon enough!!!!

I'm pumped up as hell, haven't been this excited since MK:DA, in fact even more so. Hell I haven't been on here since MK:A came out. I figured the franchise was doomed when midway collapsed.

Most definitely am too hyped about this game. It's almost... no no, I can't even lie.. it IS embarrassing. But to be very honest... when was the last time we had an MK game on the horizon that we could get this pumped about? I mean, sure... most of us showed for all of the other newly released MK games. This one is different somehow though. I think it's cause the MK team is finally getting to do MK THEIR way again. They were able to take their time.. and damn does it show. I thinks there's a lot more excitment for this because it looks like MK just might work it's way to the top again. And I couldn't be happier about it.

Same here -_-' I keep checking for news, reading people's posts, making posts left and right... but this isn't healthy, because there's more than half a year left... what am I, gonna do this every single day until then? Hmmm...

I'm thinking eventually we'll all fall into a stage where our anticipation will decline because we're tired of waiting and waiting, and we'll probably turn to something else for a while until four or three months before the release... then we'll come back full-force. That's usually how it happens with me at least.

I'm hoping New Vegas will ease my mind from October to beginning of 2011 (holy shit, 2010 just started!)

i think were way more excited about this game because of MK vs DC....
We got our hopes up and when it came out it disappointing with a T rating..
And now we have a M rated game with a better engine and better funding.
So yea, this game is going to... KICK ASS!!!

I kinda hate that I'm gonna be 21 when this comes out.
Time is going by too fast. I want it to slow down so I dont get old but I want it to hurry for MK.confused
I do check this site many times a day for updates tho, Its gonna melt my brain doing it for 9 months.

I think they should release 1 render a week and if there are 26 characters that would kill 26 weeks then MK would be nearly out.

I might be one of the older fans in here. I will be 29 when this comes out, but still an MK fan for life. My job helps to pass the time fast, and yes I am as impatient as the rest of you guys.

This is my most anticipated MK game, or any game for that matter in a long time. I think I was this stoked when they released the Scorpion trailer for MK deadly alliance where he was doing a kata. Really didn't show any gameplay or confirm anything but it was still amazing. And I also remember when they released 2 images, 1 of scorpion fighting jax and 1 of Quan chi over his arena in deadly alliance.

Best advice I can give, find another game to keep you busy or play the older MK's. Do something else to keep your mind off this game (YEAH RIGHT!)

Im just relieved this is coming out before 2012. Just incaseprophecies all the prophecies are true. I have to beat MK9 before I die LOL.

Older folks ain't alone; I'll be 28 when this hits.

Now that we've had gameplay footage, a fatality montage and the trailer, I'm expecting an info draught for about a month. Attempting to remain calm and playing UMK3 on DS at any given opportunity to tide me over. I figure that's better practice for this than the newer MKs could hope to be.

Still gonna be hitting this site up twice a day though.

I am so pumped for this game. OMG I can not wait. Mortal Kombat: Deception was the only really good 3D one. Finally a reboot and it looks amazing! I've watched the Gamespot Live feed at least 3 times. I'm about to hit up the two new interviews in a few.
