I don't think he's gone forever.

I know it's lame and MKA was like 6 or 7 years ago but, just change most of his somewhat resemblance to a really bad actor and that would do for me. I wouldn't even miss him but i doubt he's one to remain forgotten.

I reckon events will still take place, that bring about Armageddon!!

Taven and Daegon will be in future Mortal Kombat games. But I think it would be an interesting twist, if both Taven and Daegon became corrupted..

Well daegon was already corrupted and i dont think taven should be a bad guy. I do wish he would come back, but still with a way better design.

I hope he isn't gone, I liked Taven and the story between him and Daegon. I hope to see the two again, but in a new context as the future is slowly changing away from the Armageddon (hopefully).

I'd also like to see Daegon again as well. Plus Daegon's pretty important to the Red Dragon storyline.

Nobody stopped Armageddon from happening.

They only stopped Shao Kahn from being the one who wins.

Oh i thought that they stopped armageddon from happening altogether. Also since shao khan and raiden were at the top, does this mean konquest was uncanon, or was he defeated after he killed blaze.

Before Kahn kills Raiden, he starts glowing yellow. I'm pretty certain that yellow energy is supposed to be the power of "The Prize", which means Kahn is the one who killed Blaze.

Either Taven couldn't beat Blaze or Kahn just got there first. Everything else in MKA Konquest is canon except for the ending though, because we see some of it in Raiden's flashback-visions.

Hopefully Taven, Daegon and Blaze return in a sequel. Would be pretty cool. Also maybe once taven killed blaze, shao khan killed him and stole the power. Im not sure if it works like that though. And, as brought up in another thread, how could shao khan even be at the pyramid!?

I like to pretend that whole Taven and Daegon thing were never really part of the MK story. Thay are just way too generic. Along with Shujinko, to me they dont exist.

I'd take Taven over Liu Kang any day. As far as lead heroes go, he's the best MK has seen, if only because he has a personality beyond "I do what is right". If they could figure out how to give him time manipulation abilities (Expanding on his time stop move in Konquest), he could be a pretty badass character.

Except Armageddon was caused by having too many MK warriors in existence. With at least 12 of the playable characters dead, they don't seem like they're going down that road.

You're forgetting that like half the cast of Armageddon was characters raised from the dead. Way more than 12 without a doubt. Netherealm warriors have to be just as much one of the dangers Blaze keeps count of as Earth and Outworld ones, and anyone can return from the grave at any time in this series except possibly Shao Kahn since the Elder Gods carried him off or exploded him or whatever they did, and Raiden's amulet healing is proof that Kahn now won't be able to win.

Nothing, and I do mean nothing can stop Armageddon from happening except destroying Blaze before he can summon the pyramid to rise. If Blaze exists, if Taven sleeps, if Argus's plan is still able to be carried out, then it WILL be, it's just a matter of how long it takes for it to happen again.

Taven and Daegon may actually be slaves in some kind of outworld banishment lair for not following Shao Kahn's orders.

They werent ordered to do anything by shao khan.

And Dairou was also there for denying Kitana's marriage proposal!

I don't care for Taven, and I find Daegon to be the superior brother, but I wouldn't be opposed to see the fully haired one back...

Yeah i also like daegon more, mainly due to his design and backstory, but if one was to come the other should be back too. Man how i wish they made armageddon better, it could of been if they took more time on it. Hopefully armageddon happens again and all the characters are there, but that would risk having balancing issues and a lot of clone characters.

I like Daegon 'cause his voice actor and bald head kept reminding me of Clancy Brown as Lex Luthor. But of the two, I prefer Taven. I actually really like Taven as a character because he came off as pretty snarky and sarcastic.

The main thinf that i didnt like about taven was his design,which was so bland and ugly. His story was okay, but daegon is cooler imo.
