No, I saw that too, and despite that you may be right, "eyes bleeding" doesn't necessarily translate to "eyes completely gone."

Also, if the spirit tore out his eyes AND hair, why is his scalp not bleeding? Was instant hair loss a symptom of the spiritual encounter (I say that in complete seriousness)?

Also, it's a spirit: spirits have been know for occupying shared space without replacing it. The fingers in his eyes doesn't have to mean his eyes are gone. Perhaps the intensity of the encounter ruptured all the capillaries in his eyes.

I don't know. The point is eye injury doesn't have to mean eye removal. I think the greater point is that NRS just didn't think the Vignette through.

You may be right, too, but going by that first picture I posted, it sure makes it look like he has empty sockets...no eyes visible at all.
As for the hair, I have no idea... The massive blast of energy destroyed his hair..? No clue..

Also it's the Vignette, considering it's not that accurate anyway we could simply assume the eyeball thing is for ''shock value'' and not real canon....

2 more days till Kenshi

There are so many characters I want to learn now that I feel more overwhelmed than excited for Kenshi. Still, he looks so fucking badass.

Same here! When I get Kenshi, I need to master his combos, specials and stuff then I'll show off my new Main online! They'll probably rage-quit cuz I picked Kenshi. That happened once when I picked Skarlet lol

The revamped Tele-Flurry looks badass.

The fact that the sword actually flies around and returns to Kenshi's hand is fucking awesome. Although I'm still hoping for a Telekinetic Flying Buzzsaw. :3 Maybe as a fatality?

i used to love facing off against smoke cause for whatever reason, he was usually the toughest character for me to beat(harder than bosses and any other character)...
now with his hair i can't even stand to look at him

Are you serious? Tao Feng was one of the suckiest fighting games I have ever played. The gameplay was clumsy, the designs were boring, the story was beyond sleep-inducing... That's my opinion anyways.

However, I do agree there's a slight resemblence of pre-MK Kenshi and Fiery Phoenix, but I wouldn't look too deep into that. It's most likely just a coincedence.

I've never played Tao Feng,but I've been told it's kinda sluggish....

not a fan of this character design. pumped they used MKII costumes though for Smoke and Noob. Looks like he will be fun to play with though.

I don't think we're supposed to take these vignettes seriously as gospel. The previous ones have had some contradictions already:

Scorpion killed Bi-Han with the Hellfire [in game he kills him with his Toasty fatality]

Mileena was born with armblades like Baraka [no sign of them in game]

I'm sure there was some more but those were the most glaring ones. So I have a feeling Kenshi still have his eyeballs in his head.

Er, with the Toasty! fatality Scorpion breathes hellfire onto the enemy and immolates them.

Shang Tsung was the person behind the creation of Mileena, i am sure he removed the arm blades off of her while she was still in the flesh pits.

Did you even watch the vignette? It clearly shows Scorpion summoning hellfire (with his hands) when the announcer says "when Bi-Han was unjustly murdered by Scorpion".

A good 10 more hours eh? Can't wait! Thanks to my Season Pass, acquiring Kenshi will be a breeze!
