There was also an Asian version of the game realeased which myself and a few other disgruntled Asia-based mk fans bought. Thus far we've received fuck all DLC, and it doesn't look as if we're going to get any anytime soon.
Hope you guys enjoy kenshi and scarlet in the meantime though, they do look awesome.
His combos are so visually stunning, I think that might just top the awe I got after seeing Noob Saibot's debut video.
I love how grisy his X-ray looks
All of those psychic after images with his sword work is so wonderful, he appears to have an awesome parry and his telekinetic throw, so boss.
I hope Kenshi has some dialogue, it would be a shame if he was mute, DLC characters need as much personality as they can get since they don't get a role in story mode.
This is a DLC character I'm going to get no questions asked, thank you NRS. I think I may have a new guy for my teams, this has me super excited to see what else Kenshi has to offer and the other DLC characters, good show NRS, good show.

Keep dunking your Kenshi breadsticks into your Skarlet sauce, people! The main course isn't coming for a while, and you never know when it's going to be disappointing.
When the trailers for Skarlet came out, I felt comfortable and thought, "Yeah, Stryker and I can find our way around her".
Watching Kenshi's trailer.....
I'm so fucked...
Unless he can reflect bullets, he doesn't appear to have a good answer to Stryker's zone game. You should be fine.
I'd think you'd have more trouble with Skarlet's knives and grimy teleport.
True, but I have a feeling he CAN reflect Stryker's bullets.
I can roll toss easily under Skarlet's knives and throw her ass. And I practice heavily against teleports, and blocking -> uppercut works great against her teleport.

just realised he can't play Kenshi on the 5th due to a non-optional social convention.... >_>

As Mr. Sloan always says, there is no "I" in team, but there is an "I" in pie. And there's an "I" in meat pie. Anagram of meat is team... I don't know what he's talking about.

He looks delicious

Amazing. I fucking love it.

They kept the idea behind his TK Pummel and expanded on it *immensely*.
I especially dig how he can knock projectiles back at their thrower.
Ditto the sadness about no voice clip, and the fact that will likely apply to Rain, as well. Oh well... at least we can *see* them

So I guess we can expect an MK2 Smoke & Noob trailer shortly to advertise the compatibility pack that will come with Kenshi?
I'm thinking they will come with Rain as DLC. Just makes sense bundle them with Rain. The time frame for the Noob & Smoke skins was july so it doesn't necessarily mean they will come Kenshi, because both Kenshi & Rain will be released during July. It would be nice if they did, but I think other wise.

Nice trailer of Noob+Ermac...
Yeah, and if the 4th character is Tanya, will be a nice trailer of Cammy+Liu Kang. In other words, no fucking way.

- Telekinetic flurry: A mental image hits three times and vanishes ; enhanced one hits 6 times (more damage offcourse)
- Telekintic Shoulder charge: a mental image of himself charges the opponent with his shoulder; with the enhanced one, The mental image travels further and uses his word instead (guessing more damge)
- Telekinetic Pop-up: mental image lifts sword and hits causing opponent to pop up ; enhanced version hits downwards then upwards (I'm telling you it's the same as SKarlets with more reach :/, so I guess the extra hit is mnostly damage advantage )
- Projectile Deflect: Uses sword to deflect and incoming projectile (like nightwolf only you have to time it more precisely, I guess it's a mindfuck to your opponent if you pull it off) ; guessing no enhanced but we'l see
- Telekinetic throw (i think this is his actual throw move considering there is no enhance effect and it throws back and forward) : grabs opponent in a telekinetic grip and throws him backward; or backward and forward again, both land on ground)
X-Ray: thorws his sword foreward to activate, only thing you need to know about this I reckon
Sex is Evil, Evil is Sin, Sin is forgiven, so Sex is in.
I kill people for a living. Get over it.
I hope he comes with a patch to fix what Skarlet is missing

When I heard they were taking his TK moves out to make him less like Ermac, I was kinda afraid for his move list. But basically taking the TK Flurry from Deception and turning it into his entire moves list was a genius idea. And I've been wanting to see him fight by making his sword float since he debuted. Very nice. His Fatalities both look spectacular too, I especially like the slamming them into the screen one.
The creating illusions of himself visual effect is weird, I wonder why his psychic powers would work that way...but I can live with it.
I agree with everyone else though who said it'll be disappointing if none of the DLC characters have an intro with speech. These guys are already starting at a disadvantage personality-wise by being characters with very few game appearances and not having been in story mode, it's not really fair to have them not talk either.

God DAMN.

Maybe he mentally sees himself lifting the blade, and thus to keep the sword in the fighting stance he's used to, creates TK versions of himself that he can control and easily manage his blade.
Doing simply things like spinning the blade around or throwing it most likely don't require as much concentration as pulling off an actual combo with the sword, so those don't require TK clones.
Just a theory.
