@Insider, I don't think you have anything to worry about, it doesn't look like Nightwolf's reflect where it just kinda sticks out there, if anything you get reflected then just bait the next one by holding the shot a second.

Kenshi's going to be at a baraka/johnny-like disadvantage to all the zoners unless his clones reach all the way across the screen.

I remember that, don't know if it really could have had that much of an impact, though. But I guess it's a good theory. @Fenix: Kenshi did have a teleport special in Deception and Armageddon called Mind Warp, I played those games enough times to remember it.

tbf, that barely qualifies as a teleport. just moves forward a couple of inches (yes i know that IS a teleport, but in mortal kombat terms i dont think it counts as one).

I agree it wasn't much of a teleport, and I never, ever used it, but he did have one. You'd appear right in front of the opponent.

It moved you in front of the opponent iirc.

i know, but i just dont particularly consider that a teleport, compared to specifically appearing on the OPPOSITE side of the opponent. it's more of a ground-covering move.

I like what they've done with his powers and his fatalities are awesome. Shame he's so boring. So NOT bothering with this.

You can't use boring and Kenshi in the same sentence after watching that trailer.

sure you can :P it's no different than people hating on skarlet(and those whom still hate on skarlet, and you just know they have never even attempted to play as her based on what they say)

First I like to say, i am so impressed with this character. I have never bought or played any of the MKs after MK trilogy. I never liked the idea of going into the 3d phase, so I never purchased them. This by far is my first MK since the golden age of MK. So for this reason I never seen any footage of Kenshi or ever wanted to punish myself to watch any old youtube footage of that MK 3d crap.

I do have to say I am very impressed with Kenshi and I believe he is gonna be more wicked than Ermac. I mean dam he has like kenetic shadow swinging that sword of his. Its like a twist from noob siabot, which is nice that they took a creative step on the kenetic sword play.

Now the one thing I am kinda of disappointed in this past weekends EVO 2011. I heard that they didnt allow Skarlet to be used in the tournament. Is it because she just got out this month or they just dont allow DLC characters into tournaments overall? I would find it disappointing not to see high level game play of DLC characters in EVO and other Tournament competition.

His gameplay look very cool and very brutal.... he might be the new stronger character.

Love how he uses Telekenesis to project himself and that we get to see his sword attacks. Just amazing!

They don't allow guest characters or DLC because there is the possibility of balancing issues and also not everyone may have access to DLC.

What would happen if NRS trolled everyone and make cool flashy trailers for anyone and give Rain a crappy one

Well thats dissappointing, I guess I will have to wait when they make MK 10, to see Kenshi at EVO competitions. lol

Well...I didn't like Skarlet's design or story, but I did try her out and play with her for a while and I came to the conclusion that I don't enjoy playing as her, though I admit she is fast and plays fine, she's not my cup of tea. I cannot get into her at all.

It could be his throw, or it could be a tweak of his TK Toss from the old games.

they haven't shown *both* fatalities in any of these trailers, have they (not certain)?

lol that's not going to happen though, Rain's one of the most requested DLC characters, them giving him a crappy trailer is like eating ceral and picking a fork over a spoon

It was me that posted the thing about the teleport and how I thought it was weird that he can now. I totally forgot about that mind warp move lol. I never really payed attention.
