I feel betrayed as a MK fan.
This game is the ULTIMATE game for us fans. We've been waiting for this for a long time and the team looks like they're making something really special for us.
The 14 minute long MKasts have gotten me so excited. Showing old combos redone. It's bringing out so much nostalgia and just slamming it in our faces with a whole refreshed next generation look. Everything just looks so good.
Today, my brother and I sat in giddy excitement as we listened to the remixes of older themes from the arenas. We both screamed when we heard The Courtyard. It was an awesome and nerdy moment and I was never so excited that unfortunately for the mk team, information leaked.

I am nearly speechless as to how unconventional this seems in the sense of the way this game is coming about and what it's all about.
This is THE Mortal Kombat game. This the ULTIMATE Mortal Kombat game we've been waiting for...for years.
It is ESSENTIAL to keep this game 100% Mortal Kombat. I cannot stress this enough. The MK team needs to understand this and think about the fans perspectives here. Sure, Kratos is a badass dude and a great mascot for Sony gaming. The God of War games are phenomenal. But the fact that you could even THINK about putting ANY non MK character into THIS GAME is scary!
This is a huge step backwards for this game imo if this all pans out. This is not the confidence in the team I was seeing all along. This is embarrassing and I feel ridiculous telling my friends "Oh yeah and by the way, Kratos is in it". Although some of them will be like OH THAT'S SICK, BRO...You need to think about the REAL Mortal Kombat fans.
I don't even know what else to say. It just feels so unnatural. To me it's a given to just keep this a truly MK game. I just cannot believe they would do this and I just can't see how they could be happy about doing this.
I really hope you guys read this and take into consideration of just how important this game is for me and a lot of MK fans. I won't hide behind my love for Mortal Kombat. It's here and it's always been here and always will be. It's scary sometimes but I've 100% embraced it.
Please don't just assume I'm overreacting. This is huge. Leave Kratos out of this game. Please.
