I can't find the tweet anywhere but if the quote of the "Kratos fucking Sonya and Kitana" is what HE said, then I can't take such a thing serious as "confirming" anything. And sounds like something a kid would post.

The first time we had a discussion about Kratos in this game, I didn't know what to think, I kinda hated the idea. But now, I got to the point that I could care less if he's in. You guys have the choice to buy him or not. I don't have a Ps3 but don't think I'm a one sided person. I do fear for you guys that all you might see online is Kratos players....at least until someone finds the cheapest character in the game and exploit that. On the bright side, I can easily imagine how Kratos would play since I had played the Ps2 series. *imagines*.....awesome.

I dislike Kratos being in MK for two reasons.

First, I dislike that precious time and money will be spend on foreign for the MK series character, no matter is he DLC or not. I'd rather prefer to see those resources being put into actual old or an absolutely new MK character.

Second, after MKvsDC I dislike idea of MK crossing over with any other franchises.

Third, I don't like console exclusive characters. I think it is unfair for consumers and like other people already stated it will create big debacle in the tournament circles.

In the end if he is a really in MK9 I hope that his just DLC, so people could choose if they want to see Kratos in their MK or not.

Oh shit I would love it if Bayonetta was in the Xbox version. I love that game! And she actually could be super bad ass in an MK setting and not feel out of place completely. However I still see Master Chief having a better chance than Bayonetta to be the guest character sadly. Simply because Bayonetta is Sega/Platinum Games. The guest character for Xbox has best chance of being a first party character, but I could totally see them making a deal with Team Ninja and putting Ryu Hayabusa in the game.

One, we don't even know if this game will be tourney viable. It hasn't had any local testing, no pro has played it yet and MK doesn't have a track record for making great fighters. UMK3 ended up great because of all the glitches and not because of the developers.

Two, how the fuck would Kratos not be tourney viable? If MK is brought to tournaments, then obviously a PS3 will be used. Why the fuck wouldn't they use a PS3?

Kratos being in the game has absolutely nothing to do with gameplay or tournaments.

Bayonetta can appear in both versions. As can Ryu Hayabusa.

The only real first party characters that could appear only for Xbox would be Any Gears of War character because seriously who cares (Unless its The Cole Train baby.) or Master Chief.

And christ you put Master Chief in and have him fight against Sektor or Cyrax and no one will be able to tell the difference between the two. Only the colour would be different.

Can't say I feel good about this Kratos thing. Soul Calibur is one of my fave series but it's so flamboyant and fucked up that I didn't think it was bad when Kratos and fuckers like Yoda showed up. But Kratos in my MK? That's kinda different... I'm not sure how I feel about this.

Just because it may come from a 3rd Party doesn't mean it would be on both. But yes for example Bayonetta could appear in both versions, but that isn't a console exclusive character then now is it? No way they are doing that. Kratos will be on PS3. What will we get on 360? Unknown, but popular chars from Microsoft first party games have a chance, but they could go third party char, and if so Ryu Hayabusa probably would be the most logical choice in their eyes. But yeah they probably will just go with a Gears of War character, but I never liked those games.

If hes in, he should be a guest character, maybe hidden or unlockable, but he will probably NOT be in the story.

HAHA..... I really find it hard to believe that MKvsDC sold as well as any of the MK's before it. If so, dig up first month or year or whatever numbers and prove it. I mean I just find it hard to believe because MKvsDC is the one MK game I never bought and never will because it is total garbage trash that if I happened to get a copy for free some how, I'd just give it to some one else. So like I said, prove it to me because I think you are very very wrong.

Anyways yeah I'll be the first one to buy this new MK despite any thing to be honest. Even if I dont have a working Xbox like I dont right now, I'll still buy the game on release. I am a big MK fanboy, and I am excited that this game looks like it could easily be the best MK since UMK3. And in the end, I support the games and devs I like. And as long as MK at the least has a story going, I'm on board. I really didn't like the story of MKA at all, but I'm excited how they're going back now. Its all kinda weird that whatever differences of what happened before and may be different in this game, all of it is still canon and happened. Because from the players perspective, thats us, it is like Raiden is sending us back in time lol.... I know it is just best excuse they could come up with to tie this game in with MKA and say its "canon", but I really frakkin hate going back in time. Time travel into the past just isn't possible.

Neither is inter-dimensional travel, soul stealing or shooting a freeze ray out of your hand.

3 million copies is actually good, so MKvsDC did sell well

Thank god I'm getting the 360 version. I really don't want my return to MK roots ruined by a stupid console exclusive character. If the 360 gets some pointless addition too, I hate to say it but I might rethink purchasing this.
