Li-Mei, Ashrah or Delia!!
Ok I doubt it's any of the three girls mentioned. This is just a thought but what if she's some kind of Elder God or was at one point. The "dream like state" hade is in could be her libgering in between life and death. Her stomach was ripped out (I think) but it could be easily written that she was fadin in and out still fighting to stay alive then before she dies she enters this "other realm" which is just the crossing over point. The other characters who died were instant death. Strikers nose broke causing the csrtilidge to lodge into his brain instant death. Jax got a heel to the throat no recovering bled to death no fight. Smoke got his neck snapped but as a demon smoke thing she would be wary if possessing him. Kitana could have been another viable option but it's possible Sindels magic did internal damage like soul tainting or something. Liu Kangs soul would be angry so she wouldn't want a vengeful spirit returning and C. Sub o dot think died, yea he was seen in Netherrealm but o think he just malfunctioned but it could be possible the man died leaving his machine body an open vessel for (smoke). Anyway I'm getting side tracked. The girl realizes Jade will be the safest vessel to posses so shed posses her to warn the earth heroes. The reason Shao Kahn's death would have to be re-imagined was because he could have looked through bi hans eyes to see Shinnok and learn of his plans. The heroes believe they are safe due to shao khans death. Her "re-imagine" could just mean look reimagine his "death" it may have been good but it's a beacon for something or someone worse. Idk just my own personal idea. This way she is a new character but her motivations could be justified. As for the realm it could just be something like the void. A realm existing between life and death meant fir lost souls like purgatory or limbo. The reason the girl would be there could easily be said that he was banished for helping mortals.

It's definitely not Li Mei or Ashrah. And the only evidence that it's Delia is the hood, the orange-red clothing, and the implication that she's not mortal. She seems to be wearing much more revealing clothes than Delia, which isn't surpirising considering every female except Sheeva has been stuck in ultra-revealing clothing in this game. But still, i'm indifferent as to whether it's Delia or none of the above.

The clothing's not red or orange. It's kind of a pale gold at best and mostly just looks iridescent or pearlescent like her bra is a giant piece of jewelry. That's, like, one of the reasons I've repeatedly used for why it can't be Delia, Delia would be wearing fire-colors.

Except Sheeva?

I said except Sheeva because that's pretty much the same thing she wore in MK3. You can't sex up a costume that's already sexed up to the max.
Anyways, the picture has pretty dark with the only light being the dim blue glow. I wouldn't think the color would show in that lighting.
I kind of hope it's a new character though. I don't really like Delia.

When I first read this ending from the leaks, and from seeing the first fan speculations, there was not one instance I thought of Li Mei, Ashrah, or Delia. I.. um, used my judgement based upon what I know from the story established in MKD, especially... (the Bios, Endings, Konquest Mode, and those YouTube videos that play the scrambled messages forward are really useful..)
With that said, I find these ideas pretty entertaining, at the least.

LOL!! Also I'd be perfectly happy for Stryker to have a Flesh Pits costume, he has the nicest BUTT of all the guys in the game.. :D

I wouldn't be too quick to say it's not Delia.
Delia is, in addition to being a flame sorceress, is a premonitionist. It is that ability that may be what she used to watch the events (assuming she is that woman), possibly seeing each vision through someone else.
I know it's not Li Mei or Ashrah, because neither is currently concerned with the whereabouts of Shao Kahn. Hell, if I'm correct, Li Mei's a freakin' kid right now.

This is one of the best theories I have ever read about the mystery woman in Jade's dream. This is alot more plausible than it being a former character gaining a sudden make-over.
Although all this speculation is for a "what if" ending that could possibly get scrapped by the next game. And if so, all this arguing and such would somewhat be a waste. Why put so much into a character that made one appearance in an ending that has no name, no relevance to any other character. If this character is supposed to have something big, we would have probably seen her during story mode. But since obviously story mode is the main story here, why put so much effort into making a "what if" ending be something so big?
What about all these other endings? If Smoke is really this demonic creature, how come nothing like that ever happened in story? I mean, that's a HUGE difference to his character all of a sudden. If these endings don't play a huge part of the story, why make a huge assumption about them when they could easily get scrapped for the next game?
I mean, how is this character supposed to play a big role in the next game, if possible, if Jade's dead?

I mentioned that back when the endings leaked, and like the first reply in this thread, as well...

I just like discussing things about Jade. And the mystery woman is a potential new character, maybe not playable, but I am still curious to know who she is. Making theories about who she is is fun and it is nice to see people get their creative juices flowing when coming up with ideas of who she might be. It's all in good fun. ^^

I have to agree with this whole concept, yet I couldn't help but notice how similar in appearance she looked to the character Qali in Mortal Kombat Conquest years ago, Kitana's old best friend and fellow Edenian which was similar to Jade, yet I'd doubt it.

I thought it was the One Being. In MKD konquest, there's a man in Earthrealm who speaks of the One Being being asleep. When I heard the narrator say "waking world" I thought it was the One Being. Technically the One Being is the realms themselves, but the woman could be an avatar like Onaga's Damashi.
As for the mysterious realm, my gut strongly says Chaosrealm because "the surroundings shifted and changed."
If it is the One Being, then it would raise some questions that will hopefully be answered: why Jade? Why now?
Other than that, I don't really see it being anyone we know.
She could be countless new characters: Jade's psyche coming alive, the Tempest of Chaosrealm, the God of Chaos, somebody who was trapped in a dream realm long ago, or even Onaga screwing around with Jade's mind and body.
