Cool Liu Kang's dragon fatality is back!!! I just hope NRS doesn't bring his wussy flip uppercut fatality back, and instead of it make this powerful chest punch his 2nd fatality. Kill Bill Style Baby!!! That would be freakin' awesome. Also nice to see Liu has his MK1 look again as an ALT costume. Notice that his hair is shorter, he has no red head bandana on and his pants are totally black in color. A bit modified, but it's definately his MK1 look as an ALT costume. Great news for all Liu Kang fans.

It almost seem like they want to turn him into a white person or something...even Kung Lao look somewhat non-Asian. All of these is funny because how the hell can you sport Chinese names and yet want the characters to be totally non-Asian. I remember some other previous version that came out and i look at Liu Kang...i say to myself omg, wtf did they do to Liu Kang....i don't even think he look Asian at all. His nose is longer and his eyes wasn't slightly slanted like all Asian do. And the name Shao Khan and Shang Tsung are Chinese names also...but they look somewhat non-Asian. I mean if you're going to sports Chinese names, why not give it the Asian look too??

I think there is a stereotype thing going on here...almost like the Arbender syndrome where white people want to associate themselves with Asian w/o giving credit to the authenticity of the Asian look...so in order to do that...they want to change the character to look somewhat like them so that wayyyy...they can associate themselves w/ the Asianfu shyt. Kind of lame...but whatever.



Dude, you need to cool it. It really seems like you are trying to start shit in this thread. They all look asian as they are supposed to look.

On topic, that looks to be a sweet ass fatality. I'm glad they're putting alot of personality into each fighter. This game is going to be BEAST.

Actually a dont like how dragon fatality sounds...i really hope to see a good morph and a good dragon design...MK2 dragon fatality was awesome...but time has changed and i rather a custom body fatality and not watching monster morphings or gigant foot or any exaggerated stuff.

the shadow pic fatality looks cool...

OK, before reading all replies:

1) That wallpaper is really nice. It's not my favorite to be honest. Mileena's still the best out of the 4 that have been revealed, however, this one is just as good as the rest.

I love the fire color of the background and the details in the dead pool (look at that happy skeleton! he looks so please to be there!! smile).

2) Liu Kang looks angry! He looks more, er, handsome in his in-game picture though. I'm not sure I'm feeling his look anymore. He looks really old. Like, really. I'm not sure I like this model of him as much as I thought.

3) I'm intrigued about this Fatality. Looks like the beginning of something cool.

Last but not least:

DRAGON MORPH FATALITY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!


I'm extremely excited to see this baby back in action in high quality definition and with todays ultra sensational technology.

Yes, that dragon deserves all that drama and even more if possible. They better make it amazing. The description only says he "decapitates", well, I hope it does something more creative and fun than just that.

I can't wait to see him morph.

You don't see a headband because the headband is black. That's what's making you think his hair looks different too.
It wouldn't be an alt, all his clothes from the primary are still there, the red has all simply been turned black.

Alts are a completely different wardrobe. This is a P2 Palette or a coloring error.
In other news, you guys realize this means we're only like a week or two away from getting the real meat, his bio vignette and combo video, right?

I think we will have to pay for Liu's Dragon Fatality DLC but this punch a hole threw the chest looks to be awesome. His other could be his MKDA Fire from below Fatality and I would be happy.

No Arcade drop or kart wheel

still disapointed with his X-Ray I hoped it would be more like his snap crackel pop Fatality from MK:SM

Even if that's the case, it's odd that they'd showcase his P2 color of all things. Hasn't been done for the other fighters.

Yes! Yes! Yes! Finally, after 13 years (since MK4), the dragon morph fatality is back!!!

Thank you NRS!!! No more silly fatalities like the Arcade drop (since MK3) and the transvestite head rip fatality from MKD!

And...if it's confirmed, I'm officially naming the one-inch punch fatality the "Dragon's Heart Rip!"

I love the new on the dragon morph and its "alternate custume" looks wicked!

I don't like that fatality which makes lui kang beat the heart out of a chest, does scream KANO REPLACER to me and I want Kano.
