That sounds indeed like Raiden who speaks first, and I believe that it is Shang Tsung who Liu Kang is challenging. Overall a nice gameplay video, but I still find Liu Kang rather boring. He was never a fave of mine, but I have never hated him either...

Two gripes. Johnny Cage hair = jerrycurl? Sindel's hair is doing the same shit Kitana's hair is doing (defying gravity), runs in the family? Everything else is awesome! Oh, blue suit, meh.

Looks great. I like Liu's tag out animation, he does the fire thing from his fatality in MK3.

I like Cage's alt, particularly that the tie is undone and loose around his neck. I also like that it's blue, it reminds me of the one he was wearing on the boat in the original comic book.

Raiden and Liu have the same voice actors as in vs DCU. Not surprising considering lots of other characters do too, but good news all the same, at least to me, I liked the job those two did in that game.

There being a nighttime version of the Garden stage is pretty cool too. I like how adding a moonlit sky makes the stage a cross between the Warrior Shrine and Pit I, which makes up a little bit for them pretending Pit II is the only Pit.

As for Liu's moves, looks like he does all the classics, and also flaming upgrades to the Dragon Kick and Bike Kick...his noises are properly there, awesome for me, a shame for the haters...I like that "run over top of you and kick you in the back of the head" grab, that funny looking flip where he lands on his back while kicking you, and especially the little taunt. I wonder if the taunt is a parry move, like if you try to hit him during it, he does the sweep automatically?

Liu looks cool, except I don't like the mullet, never did. The Bruce Lee noises are well done, but his speaking voice just grates on me. He sounds so midwestern. Is he a chinese monk or not? I guess I'm probably the only one here who likes his fight sounds but not his speaking voice.

Never really liked Johnny's suit alt, but I figured they'd include it.

Really like the metal clanging sounds when he hits the cyborgs.

As before, his x-ray looks awesome.

But if this is the big news for today, I'm disappointed.

Cage's alt is cool, and what we can see of Liu's looks pretty good.

Night/day stages = win.

Flamming Bicycle kick= Pure Awsomeness.

But overall it seems he realyy has alot of great moves and it actually looks like I might play as him some when the game releases.

I think it looks great because I hated it during MK:D and MKA. It just looked like he was magically floating across the screen kicking.

But this one has that sweet angle so it actually looks like he's able to stay in the air while kicking them in the chest over and over.

Didn't seem shitty to me. What do you mean as usual? What other MK game besides vs. DC had complete voice acting? And it wasn't even that bad to me.

Loooks sweet! His gameplay looks sick! Nice to see Night and Day version of stages, and finally some alternate costumes; I was starting to think they would pull a Capcom with those.

I'm really liking his combos, specially that cool "climbing on top while kicking and then another kick to the head".

Best things of the video are the alternate costumes revealed and the stprymode moments. I'm really happy to see Johnny's suit (though I hope they have in store a more impressive alt for DLC).

Liu's interaction with Johnny reminds me a lot of of the first movie. That's awesome.

I can't wait.
