How long before I can get my hands on a Shao Kahn statue?

I wouldn't think it will be 'that' long, I mean they've already messed with him on the sculpting table. I'll look into a rough release date for you!
I'm seriously way to excited for these statues.
I've been dreaming for something like this for ages. I've always been disappointed and frustrated about the lack of MK material such as statues, action figures, board/card games, etc.
Sure, we've gotten some, but, always very limited, rare, and often not the best quality. Some have been incredible though.
I'm already making sure I have my savings intact for a few of these.
These are all, honestly, valid and interesting points.
Maybe Tyrant and Syco will pay attention to some of these posts and get back to us about it.

I completely agree with Mojo6, these are not just for "ardent" fans by any means, they are for fans with extra disposable income, and no sense or care for value. In my opinion the bookend statues that came packed with the US Kollector's Edition MK9 game are just as well sculpted as these new statues, and those together cost less than $40, effectively. I consider myself an "ardent" fan of MK as I have collected all the toys, comics, cards etc over the years, but unfortunately the prices of these statues just doesn't sit well with me, or with plenty of others apparently. This is not an attack on anyone nor the company making these, but they really should have gone with targeting the broader MK fanbase, who can afford much lower priced items more easily. Sure some fans may buy one or two, but for completionists like me, it simply won't be possible to have them all, therefore I will likely have none.

Don't get me wrong, it's definitely a nice gesture that the company is offering MKO a discount and seems to be reaching out to the community. At the same time though with price tags that steep, it's really only feasible to a select niche who have a bit of a disposable income. So saying it's for the "ardent" fans is a bit of a misnomer. I know personally I would love to pick up several of these "10 statuettes if they were available at $50 – $75 a pop and I don't even collect these sort of things.
No way I can justify dropping $132 for more than one "10 (if at all) and forget about the $240/$160 for the Premium Statue/Bust. It’s frustrating as a fan.

You aren't obligated to make any purchases. But ardent MK fans see this as impressive collectibles to add to their MK collections. What is it with these that doesn't appeal to you, bar the price tag?

I really don't care how detailed these things are, or how "limited" they are...the price is a crock. Yeah, I know it's pretty much the industry standard for this kind of stuff, but if people didn't jizz in their pants for this stuff and shell out the money for it, companies wouldn't charge that much to begin with.
And trust me, I have the money to throw out for these things, but I just don't see how on earth they're worth it...

There are plans for those three, yes. Ermac will be the first in line however!

What about Cyber Subs?
These are all going to be absolutely gorgeous.
I wonder if they will keep their plans of making every single MK character. That would be fantastic considering how so many of them have never gotten even a small toy as a figure.
Can't wait to see what they've done. And I hope that, for now, we've seen the last of Scorpion and Sub-Zero. I hope they reveal some odd-balls soon.

Wonderful!

1) Updates are definitely on the way. We just finished writing a glorious interview with Syco, so, keep both eyes open for that one!
2) Mileena is on her way!
Tyrant will definitely keep us updated with all the info as soon as we get it. I personally can't wait for the reveal of some of my faves. Johnny and Kitana are supposed to be closely followed by Mileena. I'm excited.

Unfortunately, due to scheduling conflicts and postponed approvals, our second part of our SycoCollectibles feature won't be published for another two weeks or so!
Mileena has gone back to the sculpting table as Syco believe they can better her current sculpt (which did need some work) and are working on a whole new silhouette for her! She is going to look incredible!
There has been some big changes and we felt it best to consolidate everything together before submitting the next article.
Rest assured though, there is some exciting goodies waiting to launch!

Somehow I get the feeling it's getting Mileena's 'goodies' just right that will take the most work.

About Me
Keep dunking your Kenshi breadsticks into your Skarlet sauce, people! The main course isn't coming for a while, and you never know when it's going to be disappointing.

I just paid the invoice for mine. I got the Sub-zero and Scorpion 10 inch
Works out even better for me because of the weak US dollar.

Nice...well not so much the US Dollar bit.
I'm hoping the 10" Mileena turns out nice as I'd like to pick it up.
Really though, I'm looking forward to the MKO Unique statue once we get the ball rollin' on that.
The wait is killing me.
I want to see more. NOW!
Oh no, don't take my post literally. I just meant to say that after Mileena we should probably expect some of the (first) already confirmed characters such as Johnny and Kitana.
